It's not unusual for people to talk from the roof of their mouth, there. Even Jimmy Savile did it.

I desperately want a ciabatta bread stick for my lunch now. Can you imagine the delicious smell in that tent with all that bread baking? Oooooooooh.

I thought the right person went, but all the potential for lovely flavours and Maggie opts for seaweed.

I was very worried for my Jürgen. Delighted for Giuseppe. Those two are my favourite contestants in ages.

I still think Guiseppe will win. Maggy will go next week.

Guiseppe or Jurgen to win. I hope so because they seem like very likeable people and I do like to like the wimmers.

Don't know why Maggie is so annoying to me as she seems perfectly nice. I think it's because she's a good baker, but not creative enough and being clever with flavour is really important in a competition like this. She seems out of her depth and a bit stuck in her ways.

While we on the subject of flavour, what was Jurgen thinking with the kipper and boiled egg focaccia? That was never going to be delicious. I like eggs, kippers and focaccia, but together?

I think Maggie said at one point this week that she was sticking to traditional flavours all the way through the competition. I don't think that's going to win her any brownie points.

Every old lady baker they've ever had on the show has been the same. Fantastic home baker but not nearly creative enough to get beyond the third or fourth round.

I think they're included to show that GBBO isn't ageist.

Apart from Nancy, who won it in her 60s (if that counts as old lady).

There is always an older baker who doesn’t adapt and then gets kicked out somewhere around the fourth week. There was an older gentleman a year or two ago exactly the same.
