Nooo I love Cam ! He's hysterical. He with Phil and Gloria are the best.
How can anyone like Alex ???? She has no redeeming features.
Think its a bit weird seeing Luke and Manny grown up.

Alex is such a bully to everyone. I would have loved for the last season storyline go go differently for Hayley.

Remember when Mitchell and Cam are introducing Lily to the family. And Cam walks in, wearing a kimono, and holding Lily aloft to the soundtrack of Lion King.

Early Dylan was hilarious. Rewatched pilot and new boyfriend Dylan carrying Phil to the sofa when he put his back out trying to be the alpha male was very funny!

I like Dylan but I would have liked Hayley to end up with Andy and a career.

As a PP said, if you like Modern Family also try Life in Pieces. 12yo ds and I love them both

I don't think Hayley should have ended up with either Andy or Dylan, would have been nice to see her do something without either of them.
Cam is so funny, don't think the actor will ever be able to leave that part behind same with Gloria.

Does anyone remember Married with Children? Remember watching it when we were younger and showed my DD13 thr first episode the other day, and honestly the actor who plays Jay was playing the exact same character all those years ago 😃

Very late to the party on this but my mind has been blown by seeing that the actor who plays Cam has recently become engaged to a woman he s been with for 4 or 5 years. I 100% assumed he was gay !

but it annoys me that their relationship Cam and Mitch, isn't more affectionate onscreen, in this day and age, its sad I think that as a society we're more comfortable with a rather obscene age gap than an age appropriate gay couple xx

According to Wikipedia, Eric Stonestreet (Cam)is a huge supporter of gay rights, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitch) who is gay, light heartedly calls him 'gay for pay'.

Yes ! I thought he was ‘gay each day’ or ‘not gay?, no way!’ Etc.

I've watched up to series 7, I think. Love Cam and Mitch - prefer Mitch as he is so drily funny and his physical acting is hilarious (embarrassed squirming etc).

Loath Phil - he is so irritating. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sleep with someone like that. I do like Claire, Gloria and Jay. Manny is good but very repetitive. Can't see the point of Hayley and Alex's little brother whose name currently escapes me..Luke?

Yes you have a point!

Series 1 was criticised for Cam and Mitch being rude and at odds with each other so the occasional quick kiss or touch was added. But presume the tv company were too scared of a backlash to take it further, sadly.

I think Mitch and Cam's relationship was quite ground breaking when the show first came out. There aren't many shows giving such a positive view of a guy couple bringing up their adopted child.

I like Luke he's not such an exaggerated character as some of the others but he has some funny moments. I liked an episode where Phil is Godfather to Gloria's baby and he becomes like The Godfather ordering Luke to carry out hits on all his "enemies".

America is still very conservative so a gay couple talking about their sex life would be a no no

But they have played this into the characters Mitch doesn’t like to be affectionate in public this was written into an episode

I really like Alex in the early seasons her delivery of her acid comebacks was very funny. But with all the children they became less funny and likeable as they got older

Dylan was very funny in the first series especially the song he wrote for Hayley
