I know I'm very late to the party here, but does Cam drive anyone else up the wall?

Yes but they picked Lily as a baby so had no idea if she could act as she grew up. She is just a normal kid so wooden as hell. She actually shows how extremely talented the other child actors are.

Cam is funny but so so needy! Agree that Mitch is whiny though. The thing I yell at the show must us, ‘what about lily?’! They never parent!!

Lily is a little madam but she's so indulged by Cam it's hardly surprising!

I really enjoy Jay and Gloria's relationship and Jay's relationship with Manny. The former should be a bit cringey on paper but I think because she's so feisty and he genuinely seems to have learned from mistakes he made in his first marriage it comes over very sweet.

I love his relationship with Claire too, although it's a tough watch sometimes as I lost my dad recently. The episode where they go to Australia (my dad lived there before I was born and I've visited but we never went together) had me in bits.

I like them all, Cam included.

Gloria is my queen!! She's just fantastic!

I love them all too, though I see them all as caricatures really.
Alex and Jay are my favourites.
I preferred Cam at the beginning - I think he got more histrionic and needy as the series went on.
There is not one of them I'd want to live with but I find it funny, and sometimes the little serious moments bring a tear to my eye.

The only characters who don’t drive me up the wall are Gloria and Jay. Gave up watching largely due to Claire Phil and Mitchell and the older daughter. Cam made me laugh and grit my teeth equally.

This is one of my favourite programmes and I love all of the adult characters. The only ones I'm not keen on are adult Luke in the later series, older Manny and Joe. I think the series deteriorated once Joe starting to have a speaking role.

I think you have to see them all as a whole TBH. Individually they all have really irritating traits but they all work together as a family.

I'm only up to series 5 so far.

Cam's dramatic mannerisms make me laugh. I think they're a great couple.

I love Cam, Phil and Gloria.

I don't get why Phil's annoying? I think his enthusiasm is endearing , probably because I'm married to someone with the opposite temperament 😁.

I'm watching MF now! I love all the characters. I think the story lines for older Luke and Manny were a bit weak.

I love Phil...he always seems quite laid back, funny and happy to go along with anything butalso has a bit of ambition and a sense of adventure.

The polar opposite of my XH which is probably why I like him!

Cam is my favourite, so many great lines, fantastic comic timing. I love it when he shouts ‘Lily!!!!’ and Sports guy chest-bump. We have watched all the episodes several times!

I absolutely cannot fathom anyone not liking cam - and a pp said Phil??! I feel personally attacked 😂 modern family is my absolute fave show of all time.

I love it when Cam gets to dance his heart out at the parent and baby group.

Until recently I assumed everyone thought Phil was scripted to be so incredibly vringeworthy and awful but enough "cute" moments to make him bearable. How anyone could want a Phil-like partner boggles me!

They are all brilliant. Cam just gets better and better as do they all throughout the series.

I think if you don't like Cam you're just not getting it.

I love love LOVE Cam actually I love everyone in MF (except maybe Manny, not a big fan of him).

Cam and Mitchell as a couple are adorable. They are just such awful parents though that I came to hate both of them.

Claire and Alex are my favorites.

Phil is horrendous, total usless prat. One episode passed me right off where Luke was shown to ne incapable of being responsible for anything. Apparently (according to Phil) it would be okay as there would be a woman to take care of him and and she could do everything while he just pratted around. (Think this was supposed to be a loving moment between Clare and Phil because Luke is as useless as Phil.and ot was Clare's responsible to do everything- and br uptight about it all)

Agree Luke and Manny are also awful.and could do without them! Manny ended up a real sleeze in the end.

Still love it even with that!!

Love modern family. Phil and Gloria are the best. I like all of them just find Hayley and Dylan boring. I rewatch the whole series whenever I feel like. I missed them when I finished the series.
