I really enjoyed the first episode

I've always enjoyed the episodes when they are all together, more than when they are fractured and trying to find their way back to each other.
I do wonder though if they are in small groups simply for the practicalities of Covid filming!

I personally think they may have missed the boat on the films, I think the break due to the pandemic etc

I watched the first season of FTWD but then didn't watch anymore, I think I need to start again and rewatch.

I watched The World Beyond, but almost found it slightly 'teenie' - like I was too old to watch it! 🤣

Start back up watching Fear, it really does get better after season 1.
Watched World Beyond, season 1 wasn't horrendous but not fantastic, will keep with it though.
I really really do not want Maggie and Negan together. As much as I am a fan of Negan now he still killed Glenn.

@TeamRick yeah twb is def bit teeny - I know what you mean  i quite like fear haven't seen series 6 yet though - it's def had rubbish moments though and I wasn't 100% keen on Morgan in it even though I liked him a lot on walking dead.

@Mackers17 think you are right about michone they have mentioned her a lot more than Rick - fingers crossed she makes an appearance.

I think they missed the boat on movies even before the pandemic tbh. It definitely peaked when glen got killed. I wouldn't go to the cinema to watch the movie but will watch it eventually if they make one.

Yeah it does seem to be a fairly steady supply of walkers which doesn't totally make sense after 10 plus years? and if most of the wild animals have been eaten in that area walkers would likely move on?

I guess some are those killed by this new pope crew and in theory there might be other large communities of thousands like this new place that have more recently collapsed and the dead found there way there?

I do sort of feel like it's been so long and if there are really big communities out there a better strategy would have been come up with by now than let's kill all the humans and make more zombies!

Last night, AMC finished airing the first set of eight episodes from The Walking Dead’s final season. The second batch of eight episodes will arrive on Sunday, February 20th. The third and final group of eight installments will be released at some point later in 2022

Well that was a strange episode, quite liked it but lots of annoying stuff! Why are they cowering in a house in Alexandria where they can be trapped why not just spread out and off the zombies as they approach?!! One adult in the upstairs with the children! Are they afraid of getting wet?!!

With Pope it was kind of an anticlimax - however with loads of the previous baddies I wondered why they didn't just off them in situations like that so glad it was a woman who just got on and did it without a fuss in the end! Ruthless though to send the fireworks on Daryl gang though. Surely fireworks would go in one spot and can be dodged though or admired from a distance

Haven’t seen yet but was watching whiskey cavalier thinking lead lady looked familiar

Seems like it's barely gotten started

Just caught up. I think I was expecting that episode to be a bit better than it was. Glad pope is gone and also quite liking shaw taking over as I fully expected her to back Darryl and end up with our crew. I don't really like her though so I'm glad that's not the case. The stuff at alexandria felt like filler. I did think that it would be the culmination of all the michonne mentions and she would appear last minute to save everyone but even though that didn't happen, I'm still expecting her back as there were more mentions of her again this episode. I'd say we are definitely being primed for her return before the end. Maybe in the next section of episodes then hoping for a brief Rick return just before the end. Thanks for the dates, Blondes! Four month wait now then for the next lot of episodes.

Anyone watched the new episode yet?

Yes, I enjoyed it but I am now feeling like I just need to know what's going on with Rick... I watched the World Beyond hoping for a glimpse or something. I don't even know if he's filmed those Rick films!

First time since she came back that Maggie didn’t piss me off, and the chemistry with her and Negan in that corridor… Oooft! He picked a bad time to fuck off, didn’t he?!

Didn't know it was back so the bonus is I have two episodes to watch tomorrow. Hoping for plenty of Negan

Only 1 episode on Disney+ (I’ve just sat and watched it) but no idea what day it went on or when the next is due.

Darryl was an annoying twat in the first episode. He’s getting soft and I do not approve, particularly as this group (whatever their name is, I’ve already forgotten) are highly skilled war vets!

I feel like they’re trying to rush the ending now. When Aaron was trying to escape the zombies in the flooded basement, he’s surrounded then all of a sudden a rope has been rigged up across the room and he’s scrambling across it.

Also the skipping to 6 months later and Daryl is a storm trooper. I found it disappointing.

I have no idea where this is all going now. I won't say too much as I don't know who has seen episode 10 but can I just say I don't dig Darryl in that budget stormtrooper outfit. But Negan, I'd probably be fine with you in or out of it [there is no emoji for a lecherous old woman]
