Pretty sure she was trying to say "hors d'oeuvres" but totally mispronouncing Yes, bless her. I thought that was cute. I mispronounce so many words that I've only read in books and never hear anybody actually say. I don't think I've ever actually heard anyone say hors d'oeuvres before but have read it numerous times. I think the only reason I know how it's pronounced is because I Googled the pronunciation 😳

In fairness, I'd never heard of them at her age, so I'm impressed she knew. She's lovely, she could mispronounce every word and I'd still love her!
