Faye, friends can be happy for you and want things to work out and STILL not think you're compatible. You can greatly like someone, love them even and STILL not be compatible. Teddy agreeing there is equally depressing - because it's clear he thinks like Faye does, that everyone is out to get him.

Totally agree with this, I have married couple friends who I think aren't compatible and shouldn't have got married, but that doesn't mean I want them to split up! I'd love to be proved wrong.
