I think part of the issue is the contestants now know what th show is about, they aren’t in there for love, they are in there for the publicity. This year more than any other. That’s why Faye apologised and started to behave herself, she suddenly realised her behaviour was going to be on tv.

The boys are looking for the best girl they can get. Always looking for something better. Only really jake and Libby truely like each other and Liam and the new girl. . And even they are all playing a game. The rest aren’t remotely interested in one another, they are just trying to find someone they can stomach to stay in.

Really dislike the way Millie, Lucinda and Chloe have formed the naughty trio it's like high school. However I wouldn't be superseded if that was set up by producers too.

to be fair I think they have had too...

the 'others' are not welcoming.. they sneered at the girls laughing at their 'dates' with the boys on arrival..

it was pretty nasty stuff...

then Faye's lashing out at Chloe was just pure venom.. we all know it was about Chloe being named as the one the boys would all chose if they weren't matched... and zilcho to do with defending anyone... its personal now..

So I think they need their own group.. and thank goodness they do 🌸

Its really overproduced this year I agree. Every year I think it gets worse and worse, which I don't get as every year people say it seems overproduced!

Bring back Kem and Chris! Bring back Adam from series 2 sitting there like an owl in th dark, Bring back Chris Salmoning into the pool. Even bloody molly mae and her Teddy bear. Previous series they've had so much fun and they just aren't this year.

They are spending an entire summer in the sun, in a big villa with a pool and loads of people their age. They should be loving life but they are all bored. Where is the fun? Where is the personality?

They don't normally have a lot of people with blonde hair. This year theres just more blonde people, its a very common hair colour in real life. People get so funny about blonde hair, every time theres more than one blond girl their like "too many blondes". Or they will say things like 'the boys only want blonde hair', when normally its the petite dark haired girls that are popular. If theres lots of brunettes people don't say theres too many brunettes.

I don't mind film 20 mins of them doing lengths, but pool games, flirting in the pool, general larking about would inject a bit of fun and make it feel more like a holiday!

They could be used as little vignettes - not showing at length, but just being the odd 15-30sec snippet to show a little more of life in the villa.

I think the bottom line is, they're all bored. Or at least what we're seeing is of them being bored.

I also reckon they don't use the pool due to fake tan and what it will do to their hair. Some of the girls over the years have had visible fake tan marks. So there are pale people in love island they're just covered in fake tan.

Didn't let them off the gunge challenge though - surely that's just as hostile?

How boring can it be though they are all on holiday in a hot country in a lovely villa whilst we are all stuck at home with rubbish weather! Is it really that boring? 🤔 I know they get to go out and stuff so not like they stuck on house arrest.

Quite boring, they don’t have anything ro read, no tv, no music, there is literally fuck all to do apart from swim and exercise. So yeah I reckon after a few days you’d be bored shitless.

Which is what causes all the angst, they are all basically under house arrest, with no entertainment or escape.

Yes I’m not sure why they missed out what happened with Aaron and Sharon but it’s clear that none of the two other girls were interested really and that’s why he’s gone back to Sharon, I don’t blame her too much tbf he’s her only option of staying in so probably using him a bit too

Having just caught up on everything - I think Jake is horrible! He totally fancies Lucinda but didn't go there because of his BFF Brad, tested the waters with Millie but got brushed off and now is settling for Liberty who could do SO much better. Poor girl is in for absolute heartbreak - if they make it to casa amor I guarantee he will be all over someone else within in an hour. Brad is a crashing bore - he needs to go. Total lack of personality. I reckon Rachel is in for the boot - unless someone else swoops in and picks Lucinda before he gets a chance (Aaron? Hugo? New guy?), in which case Brad might pick her for friendship but I wouldn't even count on that. Liam and Millie are hands down the best couple now. I thought Liam was really boring until his date with Millie but he's totally different around her.

It's all about the order. If teddy picks first and picks Lucinda it would all kick off. But I imagine that Hugo will be last and left to chose between whoever's left. That causes the most drama.

It's called unseen bits, they show clips not aired during the week. I never bother either but this year it feels like they are needed to fill in all the gaps of what the hell is going on.

I am hoping they will show what was all that about with Aaron and Sharon looking like they are back to being BFFs.
