Silly question but do the bombshells get to watch the series before they go in or just see pics etc? I'm just surprised they're all so bowled over by Brad still

@DavidTheDog cat fishing is a very broad term used when people are not as they appear online in real life. It can be as extreme as a man using a completely random woman's photos, or someone using filters, angles, heavy makeup, photo editing... to show an image of themselves that is far more flattering and not really that representative of how they appear in person.

I think it’s hard to know @Monsteraobliqua In past series weve seen evidence both ways.

Thanks @SummaLuvin That feels a bit unfair towards Chloe. Instagram influencers all seem so heavily filtered and edited. Mollie Mae is very different in my opinion.

@DavidTheDog yeah, I think the term is definitely over used, everyone looks better when they have done their hair, spent time on makeup, picked a nice outfit, and chosen a flattering photo - of course that's what you will post on Instagram. For me the line is are they recognisable between the pictures and real life? Like if you bumped into them in a restaurant (and were a follower who knew them anyway) would you know it was them.

As I said on the other thread I think Sharon couldn’t win, act bothered “you’re crazy, jealous” etc like faye, act like you’re not bothered well that’s a bad thing as well. I think people just like Aaron hence defending him. Bringing up the kids thing was mad quite honestly.

There’s acting not bothered and there’s acting the way she did. If she were actually acting not bothered she’d have just been her normal self, chatted to the new girls etc. What she actually did was keep insisting “I don’t care, I don’t give a shit” to anybody who’d listen and gave the new girls the cold shoulder. Not nice.

I think Chloe looks better in the Villa not all dolled up with her mouth open.
I think she's seen that some of the other girls look awful with the excess makeup, that what works for photos doesn't in real life and this look is working for her.
I think Liberty is doing similar, she's really toned it down and is looking great.

Even when Faye was saying to Liam oh go ahead and get to know the nee girls it was such a thin veneer - I’d say he feels like he’s walking on eggshells around her and she might kick off at any time.

That conversation between Liam and Faye was so awkward, I think she really wanted him to say he wasn’t going to talk to anyone else and he was going to stick with her.

I think Aaron was right to call it off with Sharon as she does come across very up herself and spoilt HOWEVER i feel like he blamed it on the kids thing etc when in reality it's because he just fancies the pants off Lucinda and thinks she feels the same

I thought this too. I know he said something before but the timing makes it seem like the new girls are a factor

I think Aaron only brought up the kids thing as a further explanation to show how they want different things and he only did this because Sharon didn’t seem happy to accept what his was saying about how she reacted to the Hugo thing.

I love Aaron. He has consistently shown maturity and a level head and isn’t that interested in playing games and stringing anyone along. He’s a good friend and would make a good boyfriend I think.

Just popping in to say I think Aaron worded that perfectly; it's like he's been schooled in the art of breaking up.

They tend to come in with opinions on the islanders. It's either that or they're psychic.

If anyone is a catfish it's Liberty. Her Insta is radically different from her appearance in the show. Chloë looks refreshingly normal on hers.

I really feel for Faye. I think she's a good girl and quite complex, just not a sweet, fluffy character and i think she is starting to feel thst nobody will want her. I hope this doesn't damage her self esteem long term as it so isn't worth it.

Karen I wondered if they got some kind of briefing on who is with whom, a bit about them and maybe some clips but didn't watch the action as surely Lucinda would realise straight away that Brad had said the exact same lines to Rachel.

I just really have the ick with Aaron after he said his biggest turnoff was hairy arms. I know people like what they like, but having hair on arms is like a basic human thing, so for it to be the biggest turnoff is just The fact he seems to have gotten a pass on MN for that sort of shocks me.

@Monsteraobliqua I think they watch upto a certain point, though would surprise me if they didn't see the 24 hours prior to them going in.

It's been the case for a few series, I remember back in 2017 with Camila she was the darling of show that the audience LOVED, then when the boys went to Casa Amor and a new bunch of boys entered the villa one guy went really creepily hard on love bombing Camila, clearly because he knew his chances in the show were great if coupled up with her.

I didn't consider that the producers told them to choose Hugo, but that's probably bang on. Poor Hugo. My niece keeps shouting at the TV ' Hugo, I'll have you. Hugo! I'm here.'

PS She's 19, not 13 or anything!

Everyone loves Aaron so I don’t think they care 😂 I don’t get the love for him personally.

Chloe has been targeted for “cat fishing” on Instagram, I’m sorry but she looks more like her actual self than a lot of the other girls!

What does this mean? I thought catfishing was where you pretended to be someone you're not, like a woman pretending to be a man.

People use it to mean both. You're right, that's originally what it was, now it's just anyone who's not exactly as they are on Instagram

I really dislike hairy men with hairy arms / hairy chest so I can’t judge him! Luckily DH isn’t hairy.

I don't like that Aaron expects his partner to give up their career, to stay home and keep house and look after the kids.
I do like that he communicates it all clearly and doesn't say what people want to hear.
