@eatsleepread

In reality, would Faith look twice at Steve? Confused

Expensive lawyer.
Layabout bum with no steady job who dabbles in dodgy dealings.

No

eatsleepread · 08/04/2021 19:42

And not to be forgotten:

Beautiful sea-view home vs caravan or shack in the woods.

Killer figure and great wardrobe vs dad bod, lumberjack shirt and ancient leather jacket.

Grin

I just watched Ep 3 on iPlayer because I missed it yesterday. Only I didn't. I watched ep 6 by mistake. I didn't realise until about 3/4 of the way through when it became obvious the story was being w was wrapped up.

Take it from me - you don't need to watch any of the episodes. Skip right to the last one. You don't miss anything important!

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/04/2021 19:33

Nooooooooo don’t say that @MrsFin

Just about to watch last nights now

Then line of duty

Then poor house rich house revisited

@Netaporter - there's a massive Welsh-Italian community partly because of the jobs in the mines during the 19th century and to a lesser extent POWs during WW2.

DH's family came over in the 50s for better job prospects and settled in south Wales due to the well-established diaspora there. There were lots of cafés run by Italians, colloquially known as brachis. So if you ever want a good Italian meal & ice cream, go to Swansea!

So if you ever want a good Italian meal & ice cream, go to Swansea!

Specifically Joe's or Fortes.

Netaporter · 13/04/2021 01:49

@MrsFin @DMCWelshcakes

Thank you!

LadyEloise · 13/04/2021 22:51

It's a tough watch because of the Osian storyline. Sad

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 14/04/2021 17:13

I love her wardrobe. She has a cream top in ep4 and l need it.

FaithHowellsYellowCoat · 14/04/2021 21:00

My username is out of date!

I don’t think Faith would have looked twice at Steve if Evan hadn’t disappeared.

The music isn’t as good as in previous series but the singer is quite successful, she wrote a song for Ed Sheeran.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2021 23:12

Amazing how things change

1 desperate to find him

3 wished he died in s1

Do they not have curtains, so many goldfish bowl locations

Motnight · 17/04/2021 22:28

I'm worried about Steve!

ilovebrie8 · 18/04/2021 16:09

Agree @Motnight! Also who has bumped off Gael R?? Am thinking it is Faith’s mum as she has her mobile phone...her mum is a nasty piece of work...

luckylavender · 18/04/2021 16:30

I loved S1, thought S2 was a bit meh. But I love this series. Music is fantastic and who could refuse Rob Morgan?!

TonTonMacoute · 18/04/2021 16:54

I'm sorry but I think this third series is absolutely terrible - I feel they are really flogging a dead horse.

We were watching last nights episode and I was bored rigid, realised I didn't give a damn about any of the characters and probably won't even bother to watch the rest of it.

Faith is becoming unhinged, erratic and unreliable and annoying, the story with her mother is totally unbelievable. The plot line with poor old Steve is also tosh, Evan is just floating around being bad and useless. The story line about the court case feels levered in from the film The Children Act (which did it loads better).

In fact all of it seems like a mish mash of plots lifted from other series and bunged together in one messy, unwatchable whole.

Thank god for Netflix and Walter Presents, because BBC drama is total pants.

purpleme12 · 18/04/2021 17:00

Oh that's what it reminded me of now, The Children Act. Was trying to remember what it was! Although I have to say I wasn't impressed with that film

FaithHowellsYellowCoat · 18/04/2021 20:19

Agreed TonTon.

The book is better than the film for The Children Act. Ian McEwan had at least done some research whereas the judges in this were ridiculous.

Though I am pleased Faith finally has some flat shoes!
