Is it me or was there some weird dubbing going on tonight? I reckon they must have shot some of the scenes once and just dubbed on the relevant language afterwards - in particular, when Steve was talking to whatshername in the garage, they had their backs to the camera way too much and the voices just sounded as if they were coming from the wrong place. Probably to do with covid but it was a bit jarring.

I've just watched ep 1 of s 3. I've watched s1 & 2. Still not sure if i like it She's a bit too stagey for me and wtf she's forever lying on the floor i don't know.

Despite much of this episode being about the children/custody of, their son wasn't shown at all (unless i dozed off and missed a bit) Anyone know what's happened to him?

Faith's attitude towards the ill boy's father seemed very extreme. She also protested a bit too much that she did not sleep with him. She said that she knew him before Alys was born. Could she be a bit worried that the boy's dad is actually Alys' dad? I have only watched the first episode so I do not know yet.

I do find the clicky heel-ruffle hair-all eyes-camera angle bingo quite funny but I also suppose it's suppose to highlight that we all have our tics!

If I was watching Series 3 and hadn't seen Series 1 & 2, I think I wouldn't bother.
Too many boring lingering shots.
Too much lying / sitting on the floor.
Too much gazing out at a nice view.
Get on with the story.

What happened her friend hosting the Singles Dinner ?
She ran out and got in a car.
Was it a taxi/ uber/ friend ?

I was very partial to the blue coat in the last series. Would look great on me. Quite fancy her earrings in this series and the red coat. Music started up in this series within 3 minutes of the programme starting. Huh! write more script in stead of filling the episode up with dreary songs.
