What a weird dish to present as a soufflé.

I'm surprised they let her keep going at 15 minutes late.

I suppose it's about time someone had a 'time penalty' but why Alicia when so much crappier people have got away with it before?

I keep seeing Stefan's raw meats.

It's not on till Thursday, then Friday at 8.05pm.

Just catching up, as we've been watching on catch-up (again).

Disappointed that Alicia didn't get through. Stefan too much style over substance I think.

Rachel. Glancing at her last night I thought she was a young un. There seems to be a little bit of bubbles (as in injecta) as her face seems to be wrinkling up oddly in the Klingon stylee.

Ade - ravioli? Not with ricotta. 🤮. The sauce looked awful watery.

Katy? I love a wee laksa. Hers looked lovely. Prefer a prawny one though.

Rachel? That looked a wee bit questionable. I wouldn’t have fancied it. Not sure why she couldn’t have down vegan food.

Alicia? I like fat. Not like that though.

Stefan and his bleating sheep. I like rate meat. But crikey. A wee bit more cooking. John mentioning nasturtium first was the kicker.

Good call re the apron.

Like the monkfish.

Would eat the beef. Didn’t like the look of the sauce.

Not fond of aubergines. Pass.

I wasn’t sold on the choc cake 🥴 but if it got a boom then who am I to quibble?

Part 2. Love these two ex contestants.

Stefan. Purple tatties. They always seem to look grey and old on here. Yet he got them super vibrant. And still it looked wrong on this dish. I had to agree with oldGreg. It did look clownish.

Raw sheep and raw pear and cream soup. Mmmmm. All round stefan’s for supper? Not me ta.

Alicia 15 mins late??? No. I liked the thought of it but you can’t get that much extra time. It isn’t right.

And late on her pud too? Nah.

Mmmm. The dumplings. I spent a happy afternoon in a dumpling fug once. And loved the look of the fish too.

I love a risotto. So half sold there. But it is a comfort food so I’m biased. I’ve not had a watery one though. Eeee.

Oh the ‘soufflé’. Shame.

Alicia had to go for time issues really but I wish she’d gone in instead of old uphimsel.

I hate the ‘hope you enjoy’ or ‘enjoy’. I don’t know why it nips me but it does.

I'm watching along and was glad that someone else said upthread that they were struggling to find very many likeable contestants this year - thought I had turned into a miserable lockdown misanthrope.

I wish I could put my finger on what's different because I am usually much more positive about everyone. Madheeya (sp..!) is great, although I do get slight vibes of Kathy Bates in Misery. I have also worked with men who Mr blonde-Limahl-lookeylikey reminds me of who were super-bitchy so am struggling to warm to him much (not his fault obvs). Fingers crossed there will be some lovely types in the next few rounds...
