My13 year old DS said "Do you think women find that man attractive?"

He seemed surprised when I said "yes" -Patrick was rocking the kilt

I've only just found (and am watching)the Christmas one!

Patrick is an ex-engineer, so extra-attractive. Sally has always been one of the funniest people on the planet (check out her series on Taskmaster, or Smack the Pony)

At first sight i thought she was wearing Elizabeth I type of white make up.

Patrick and Esme are lovely.

They make a great gang with Joe too. It all works well.

I was also glad that Sally won - she seems a lovely woman. I did like the others, too, but Sally had the edge for me.

I didn't expect to like The Vivienne, but he was ok - and I think he has a lot more sewing experience than he admitted to - probably makes his own frocks. That final gold stretchy one was lovely but far too long for the model - even with 5" heels it would have been trailing in the muck.

I'd never heard of Sabrina Grant - but what a lovely girl.

I was surprised at how much I liked The Vivienne.

I expected the Vivienne to be rather strident but was pleasantly surprised. He/she was quite softly spoken and seemed nice.

Yes, everyone was really nice. Imagine Esme designing for Cher! I think The Vivienne was impressed!

Yet another example of the BBC shoehorning their drag queen agenda into a mainstream show.
Quite apart from that, I didn’t enjoy these two specials; I love watching the truly skilled ‘amateurs’ in the regular version.

I wish we could lose the sleazy double entendres too, but not likely with Joe Lycett as the host.

I knew someone would complain about the drag Queen. I'm just surprised it took this long 😂

Really? You think the BBC is forcing drag queens into their shows? Vivienne was one contestant, and I thought they were very good.

But you're quite misinformed considering how BBC staff were told they can't attend anything related to LGBTQ+ rights.

I was also waiting for someone to come along and complain.

The Vivienne was completely inoffensive. I don't watch Drag Race as I'm not interested but have no problem with this one person being on Sewing Bee.
