Tina won't be dead.

Thismustbelove · 29/12/2020 00:51

Will the shower curtain prevent the boot from being fully closed?

How did he shift a fully grown woman covered in a shower curtain down the front steps of his house and into his car across the street without anybody seeing him?

Tina will have used her phone to record won’t she?

Or possibly still have her ph on her so they can trace her once they think she has skipped bail?

It looks like Ian is going to have a long slow demise which means surely he would go to the dr and they would send him for tests? Or at least a covid test as he has cold symptoms? It’s unlikely he would suffer away silently at home getting progressively worse and not seek medical attention?

Why is Max in such a rush to get away?

I have always found it bizarre in EE when the police visit someone, that person walks away from the conversation or say they are busy or bang a door shut in the police’s faces. In real life, people answer questions asked by police, they cooperate fully. In EE they treat the police like a meddling neighbour (which I suppose is what Jack is!)

the80sweregreat · 29/12/2020 05:59

Not only did he drag her to his car he also did this in broad daylight!

Facelikearustytractor · 29/12/2020 08:30

Since she was strangled too, the necklace will probably have DNA evidence. I see he did his usual minute mart shop alibi.

I think they will drag this storyline out now and there will be more victims. It will probably be Mitch or Kheerat (No!!) next. Since they are male though they might get a bash over the head and recover within hours. It will most likely be Whitney instead Sad

Iwantacookie · 29/12/2020 08:50

I was wondering why Ian didnt mention getting a covid test or someone saying to him "are you sure its not covid" just seems odd when hes ill in the middle of a pandemic noone thinks to mention it.

notreallybotheredaboutausernam · 29/12/2020 08:58

I think it's pretty clear that they are ignoring covid on Eastenders. The reason the pubs are open and people aren't social distancing etc is because they're treating it as though it's over.
This is why people can have hospital visitors and go to the pub with friends etc despite real life London being in tier 4. It would be a pretty boring show if everyone were inside all the time.

Serendipity26 · 29/12/2020 09:04

Didn’t fat boy suffer the same fate as Tina? And nobody’s noticed yet....

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/12/2020 09:26

Noooiooooooooo. Tina is dead ??? By grey

Why didn’t she call the police or leave a message on anyone’s machine

Maybe she isn’t dead and just passes out

Agree the bit from boot must mean something

NCed again

I think this will be the catalyst for Mick to suddenly snap out of his mood and he will listen to her voicemail ( hope there is one) and emerge, hulk like as Mick Caaatah Superman, roaring araaand the square looking for Tinaaah .
He will spot the bit of shower curtain and rescue her.
L - Oh Mick my hero!
Shirl-son you made me proud !
All is well in the Carter household.

I hope they dont go down the Serial Killer route as Lucas etc

Its not only women-Fats, Shakil, Keanu ( how did he survive that) but I do think the violence is ott.
Particularly Philth throwing Sharon onto the ground when pregnant.
Oh dear god Sharon went full on with Ian 🤮🤮🤮

RJnomore1 · 29/12/2020 10:12

Oh Tina! 😱

SinisterBumFacedCat · 29/12/2020 10:13

They Fatboyed Tina!

PinkDaydreams · 29/12/2020 10:26

I think Tina has left Mick a voicemail as we heard the phone ringing then it went to voicemail so I think she's left something but don't know why Mick hasn't listened to it yet

bloodyhairy · 29/12/2020 10:41

Why Tina didn't call the police is beyond me.

BettyCarver · 29/12/2020 10:42

Tina is about to jump bail and do a runner with Mick, it’s a desperate situation so obviously he’s not going to pick up when she suddenly calls him Grin Grin

mrswhiplington · 29/12/2020 10:55

I was hoping there would be a knocking sound coming from the boot of Grey's car when they were stood round it. But I suppose they have to drag the story out. Why didn't she ring the police when stuck in that room instead of Mick. At least they would have answered. Tina gets on my nerves but I really hope she is still alive so Grey gets his comeuppance.

iknowimcoming · 29/12/2020 11:26

Presumably grey has taken Tina to the 'dead body burial site woodland near walford' where undead Mel tried to bury undead other policeman bigamist last Christmas was it? Might've been the year before I forget ...... also where Max's ex-wife tried to bury him alive (pattern emerging?) that woodland had resurrection properties so Tina might not be dead dead yet ...... (hopefully, I don't really like Tina but since she's actually grown a backbone and stood up to an abuser I'd like to see her live to get the credit now)

YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 11:45

Why didn’t she call the police or leave a message on anyone’s machine

She called mick and he let it ring out, then the camera went back to Tina holding the phone by her side and we could hear an automated voice on it so like an answerphone. Hopefully it was micks or a 999 call handler.

I do think it was important that when they showed us Tina unconscious on the sofa she was still clutching her phone and that’s when Gray was giving his big speech saying Chantelle didn’t listen and neither did Tina etc. It’s essentially his confession that he killed Chantelle. So hopefully it was recorded although I don’t buy that Gray is stupid enough to leave Tina with her phone. He would certainly check she hadn’t called anyone and take it off her.

the80sweregreat · 29/12/2020 12:38

Who'd be Mick Carter eh?
They lost their livelihood this year.
His younger son has autism.
His wife is having an affair
His abuser as a young child is about and messing with his head. He may have fathered a child aged 12.
He isn't getting on with his mum.
The woman he thought was his sister might be dead.

He may well have taken her phone but if the recording is on Micks voicemail hes done for ... hopes!
the80sweregreat · 29/12/2020 12:57

Gray was probably stressed and has forgotten about her phone! It was in her hand when she was sitting on the settee.

Thismustbelove · 29/12/2020 15:10

I think it's pretty clear that they are ignoring covid on Eastenders.

Some of the ppl in the market and some bystanders have worn masks.

tobee · 29/12/2020 16:17

Not another message left on voicemail to be retrieved at some point? Surely something else?

catinb00tz · 29/12/2020 17:00

Why would Grey, a criminal lawyer - let the police search his house without a warrant? Surely he would have told them where to go?

YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 17:19

He would. It’s very unrealistic that he would let the police in without a warrant. He’s tina’s solicitor, it’s not in her interests to let the police have any access to her home unless it’s legally enforceable. I suppose we have to assume he wasn’t thinking straight as he had her body in the car and just wanted to get away to dispose of it.

YouBoughtMeAWall · 29/12/2020 17:20

I say body, I don’t know she’s dead! I should have said he had Tina in the boot of the car.
