We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Sending Skinner somewhere else does nothing. He should be kicked out of the army, but sadly that is probably the way things like that were dealt with back then.

How can Andy and Elf have a date?

I hope they're careful with those candles in the hayloft! Remember what happened when they had a romantic dinner in the Green Goddess episode. We don't want another fire.

Yes, they have form for inappropriate use of candles in inflammable situations. Not a good idea at all.

What a strange episode.

Well, that was a thought provoking episode. Times have changed, at least to some degree although there's still some way to go. Everything was pushed under the carpet because the system just wasn't robust enough to face up to the reality or deal with it. I've sympathy for Jeremy's position, but no one felt strong enough to speak out and probably thought they wouldn't be supported if they did. Sad.
