Our Girl Thread 58 "Our Girl and Soldier Soldier Revisited"

We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

There's a new member of the platoon who is being targeted but is playing it down with Steve and Andy.

Next day, the sun is shining and the lads are out for a run.

Their exercise reminds me of dreaded cross country runs during school PE sessions.

This is very different from OG - not only in terms of the ethnic diversity and attitudes to women. I wonder how true OG really was?

I was just thinking of the members of Two Section right through all the series of OG. The composition of the section was very diverse, wasn't it?

Though it’s quite nice for women who are not devastatingly attractive to be cast.
