We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

I think Dave was very similar to Robson’s character Jimmy in Casualty, a ‘cheeky chappy’ Loveable rogue with a kind heart kind of bloke. I like to think Robson is the same

Thanks for the tip about the Robson Green programme eejit. It was excellent wasn't it? I have walked parts of the wall myself, but it's years ago now. I always thought Robson Green was a real Geordie. I'd no idea he was from Hexham.

I think he lived in Rothbury at one point (even more upmarket!)

Yes I like Hexham and have been a couple of times. It's a do-able day trip from here in the summer. No, I didn't know how he started out either.

iceroad I've stayed in Rothbury. Very nice town. I remember I'd just got a new car when we went there. The hotel was on a hill and I had to reverse uphill to get out... and the car rolled forward. Eeek. Had to get the hotel owner to help out. Felt a complete idiot.

Ladies, did you know our lovely Luke Pasqualino was in Death in Paradise on Thursday. I only found out via Twitter this morning. Had a quick look on iplayer and will settle down for a proper viewing later.

I watched ilove and it was good to see him again but unfortunately he wasn't actually on screen nearly enough. I meant to mention it on Tuesday but forgot. Then Robson Green's walk seemed to be what you were all going to watch I just assumed you were saving LP on ITV hub.

Must say it is the first time I've watched Death in Paradise and have decided it will also be my last 🙄

Yes eejit he did have an air of Indiana Jones. Might have been the hat. Didn't really see enough of him for my liking

To be honest Rhu, although I whizzed through it on iplayer to find a couple of screenshots of the delightful LP, I haven't watched it yet. I did realise as well that he might not feature in it too much and magi confirmed it. Still anything is better than nothing!

This isn't a nice episode. It was very uncomfortable to watch as I think I've said before. I re-watched it a few weeks ago.
