Why are they just basing it on the showstopper?

Because their previous successes got them to the final. Peter won the first round of the final, Dave won the second therefore it came down to the showstopper.

Kudos to Peter. He's a delightful young man and I could barely make toast at his age, let alone bake a cake.

I think one or two do us called that back in week one or two.

I'm happy with that. I think he was consistent and for his age he had a lot of baking knowledge.
