Quickly whacking this up.

@Catforaheadrest

I will be muttering “bees quits” to myself for the next three days
That Mafia panda on the advert was pronouncing it properly after all.
Peregrina · 24/11/2020 22:12

Well at least Guillaume and Burhan both managed one good round each. It sounds as though mystery chef had already been the one eliminated- unless they had to re-record that bit.

AlternativePerspective · 24/11/2020 22:12

Late to this, but it’s not hard to see why Scott has had lots of jobs. Grin

JamieLeeCurtains · 24/11/2020 22:16

They all seemed quite unsettled in that last round, like something had happened; except for Gregg, who 'professionally' went into overdrive enthusiasm and annoying gluttony.

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 24/11/2020 22:18

Nudist accident?

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 24/11/2020 22:19

Cannibal?

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 24/11/2020 22:19

Cooks with own poo?

Davros · 24/11/2020 22:23

I think I've got a bank of MC recordings on the second TiVo. I'll look at the previous episode to see if I can spot no 4. Not until tomorrow though, I'm horrifically tired and just going to crawl to bed now

Wherrsmaclickypen · 24/11/2020 22:39

Who knows if it's true but sounds boringly brand protectiony enough (ie no alternative without huge legal ructions) to be the case

Wherrsmaclickypen · 24/11/2020 22:42

If true they will have forced non disclosure all round asusualshowingbewilderingoptimisminthefaceoftwitter

viques · 24/11/2020 22:59

a little bit late, must have got my timings wrong like uncooked lamb man.

Quote of the night from Marcus “ I wouldn’t normally eat a pudding this big.”

Yet another reason to love him, imagine a lifetime of “Shame to waste it darling , pass it over here , I’ll use my own spoon.”

viques · 24/11/2020 23:03

If the thing about the secret recipe is true then can we retrospectively sack OhNoJonNo from last week on the grounds that he stole the ants and the bone marrow ideas from that Danish foraging restaurant he worked at for six months before the management declared he had worked, I mean woked, there long enough.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 24/11/2020 23:07

Indeed viques - and he's delightfully hairy.

Wherrsmaclickypen · 24/11/2020 23:11

I've just caught up and I also shall be saying beez-kweets all week ❤️❤️❤️

tenlittlecygnets · 24/11/2020 23:20

Just came on here to find out what happened to the missing chef - will look though thread but can anyone enlighten me?!

GuillermoVanHelsing · 24/11/2020 23:40

I think if that Nice Pudding bloke got through easily, and there was dithering over Guillaume and Yer Man, then mystery fourth person must have either absolutely BOMBED, or had a tantrum/ panic attack/ other mid - cook off.

Maybe under those circumstances, the show might be persuaded to edit out their performance.

JamieLeeCurtains · 24/11/2020 23:40

Were still speculating tbh, @tenlittlecygnets.

Possibly a boring nicking-an-employer's-recipe reason.

That's what the Twitter vipers are saying - their bosses' SECRET recipe (probably putting sugar in a cup of tea or something).

If so, I feel sorry for them for being so foolish, because their feet won't have hit the ground and their P45 will have been waiting for them when they got home.

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 25/11/2020 08:06

Maybe it was something really gross ‘oh this is how we make salmon en croute at Baileys Chop n Grill where I work. The secret ingredients are cat food and wood shavings’

fussychica · 25/11/2020 09:00

Well the press this morning are none the wiser and appealing for anyone who knows who it is to come forwardGrin. Maybe the best kept secret around. Perhaps this lot should be in government as they are clearly better at preventing leaks or the MC case Leeks(sorry couldn't resist)ShockGrin

jay55 · 25/11/2020 09:06

If it was nicking a recipe, or employer not allowing them to be on telly, I can't see how that is the BBC's problem. The chef could have withdrawn from the show and it would be explained next episode.

Sunbird24 · 25/11/2020 10:31

If it was discovered before the episode aired (which if it’s true would appear to be the case) then I think BBC are legally obliged to do something about it. They couldn’t bear any responsibility if it had come to light after we’d all seen it

Wherrsmaclickypen · 25/11/2020 11:33

its so funny how we all absolutely has to know, twitter has gone nuts. Secrets are hard to keep so I dont think it could be an on set incident, any health and safety issue would have to be public, an aggrieved contestant would spill to the press, most other things are good publicity which the production company would leak. Given everyone is so button lipped it feels it has to be something legal and involving non disclosures that are disproportionately dramatic and perverse, given the attention this is generating. Ah well, off for my mid morning coffee and beezkweet.

Sunbird24 · 25/11/2020 11:35

I was sad because I didn’t have any beezkweets, then I remembered the posh stem ginger cookies hidden in the cupboard! I don’t know if they count but I’m going to eat them anyway...

Wherrsmaclickypen · 25/11/2020 11:48

Oooh that would be jhaaaaaan-jhoor beezkweets? Fantastique.

Criminal proceedings notably jury trials would be prejudiced by publicity. Just saying.

Today is 'pointless speculation and describing everything I see in Inspector Clouseau franglais ' day, plus, beezkweets😬
