Quickly whacking this up.

I feel that if it were illness they would have told us that missing chef had to withdraw for that reason. But they're resolutely not answering anything, which supports it being some legal thing.

Although Deadline thinks it's health related.

Why wouldn’t they say though? X fell ill, X lobbed off a hand, X can down with food poisoning, X was struck by an asteroid... why they mystery?

I can't even believe there was a missing chef.

I'm not sure we need to know really. Perhaps it's a legal issue. If it's a health issue it may be to protect the chef or his family and it feels intrusive that the press are pushing to find out. It's not really important, it's a cooking competition.

I accidentally ate romesco sauce, it looked like a tomato sauce on top of asparagus, had no idea it had almonds in. Allergic reaction, madness trying to get the bill halfway through tasting menu (i had bloody told them my allergy at the start).

So I'm giving Marcus evils tonight.

I will be late as DH is finishing a show and I am a kind, kind woman.
