yogimum · 16/10/2007 21:35

oh shut up woman! That twins mother is talking crap

Tamum · 16/10/2007 21:35

How shallow are the twins' parents?

bunnyhunny · 16/10/2007 21:36

glucose - me too. we must be sad then! I have fond memories of when ds was 3 months, feet up, watching bridget jones with him asleep on my tummy.
much better than a party in my book

AitchTwoOh · 16/10/2007 21:36

is it only me who completely forgets how to pronounce the word routine during this programme?

rooteen rooteen?

covenhope · 16/10/2007 21:37

Naughty auntie, breaking the routine

ruddynorah · 16/10/2007 21:37

oh yay the babysitter has cocked up the roo teen.

bunnyhunny · 16/10/2007 21:37

pLEASE let her routine bugger up!!!
PLEASE!!!!

auntyspanonherbroomstick · 16/10/2007 21:37

Tamum - how judgemental are you?

Tutter · 16/10/2007 21:38

propb screaming cos they're boiling hot the poor little things!

TheYoungVisiter · 16/10/2007 21:38

arrrrg, I keep flicking over, my blood starts boiling, so I switch back to a Knight's Tale to cool off.

Ahhhhhhhhh... Heath Ledger, that's better.

Seriously though - the whole point of this week's is just stupid. Like parenting is some sort of COMPETITION over whose child has least effect on their life. I win because my is asleep 40% of the time and I'm boffing like a rabbit. No I win because my child is is asleep 7-7 and I don't even have to SEE it and I am playing rock music.

Honestly, why have a child if you've got that mentality?

Tamum · 16/10/2007 21:38

What I don't understand about Dreena is why, given the existence of Dr Spock's books, you need someone to come to your house and tell you to trust your own instincts and do what you think best? How cushy a job is that?

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 21:38

Oh no - now there'll be trouble !

AitchTwoOh · 16/10/2007 21:38

wow, that is some weird bolding. has tech changed it? try again.

roo teen?

roo teen?

even the voiceover woman is pronouncing it any which way.

please note that the routine children are hungry but pacified by attention, btw.

screamsprout · 16/10/2007 21:38

Very shallow indeed. I'm with Tamum on this one.

Dire consequences = babies crying, FFS.

Dire consequences are children who are unable to develop proper relationships as they grow up because they were denied proper attachment to their mother when they needed it the most.

ruddynorah · 16/10/2007 21:39

dh says 'aye up, house of lentil weavers ere...' he is a yorkshire man.

screamsprout · 16/10/2007 21:40

Like the knife wielding skills there.

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 21:40

Ooh no - am not liking the knife theory. It's ok if you chop your finger off, because you'll learn not to do it again .

wheresthehamster · 16/10/2007 21:40

Can't actually watch the knives bit .....

cleaninglady · 16/10/2007 21:40

LOL at ruddynorahs dh although not sure about this knives and children thing

glucose · 16/10/2007 21:41

knife use helpful but they may like some toys to play with

screamsprout · 16/10/2007 21:41

I haven't seen this before, but they are not running around with them, they all know exactly what to do with it.

Poohbah · 16/10/2007 21:41
