Maybe they had to tell the children's home that Shirley was his mum to sign the papers or something? It was revealed about two or three Christmas's ago that she was his real mum and not Sylvie : would they have just let Stan sign the papers etc? Mick always thought Shirley was his sister! He didn't know anything about his real parents.
Makes absolutely no sense does it ? How did Katy know so much about it if she was his 'carer? ' They don't get involved with the admin side of things usually?

I’ve just had a thought- mick is starting to realise Katy is lying and that she did abuse him, it’s coming back to him, so he will ask for a DNA test but the girl won’t be his child, he will be confused. Then Stuart will spot mick with Katy and recognise her, tell mick she abused him (Stuart) and the girl will turn out to be his child, probably around the same time Tiffany pulls out of carrying his baby for Rainie. (All guess work btw- I don’t know any spoilers)

Maybe Katy abused more than one boy in the home? She keeps mentioning other boys names.

Ooh last year was the Sharon/Phil/Baby story when he found out about Sharon/Ken.
And it was really well done ( the Clanger Dropping Moment) when Sharon happened to mention something that happened in a hotel and Ken had said much the same . No coincidence . He twigged ! Lightbulb!

This year Sharon will have to organise the mother of all knees-ups in the Queen Vic and maybe Ian will slope off ?

Last year was manic on the square with Linda and Keanu and Martin then L getting trashed at Karen's party NYE!
This year .. no idea! With social distancing etc it'll be harder I guess.

It was strange last night seeing Albie (well his pram!) and Abbie in the pub. They never usually have children in the pub. Tbh I thought it was lovely Sharon having Albie down there the same way she grew up.

In my head the Vic will always be Sharon’s pub. It’s where she belongs. I hope she gets to stay in it. Without Ian preferably.

I miss old Keanu! He was a bit of eye candy. There isn't any on EE. I know people like Jack , but he does nothing for me. Max I like but not fancy. Stuart is interesting , but too young for me :(

It’s a bit silly. Sharon will see money is missing and straight away look to see where it was sent to and know it went to max. She’ll know the money was there when she fell asleep and Ian was the only person there and he knew the code.

The writers think we're all daft. Sharon will know who did take the money! What is Ian thinking?
I love how Sharon left Albie grizzling to himself and fell asleep in full Sharon black outfit mode! Poor child.

Yep I think that sounds pretty spot on!

I thought Tina has some bee in her bonnet about Mick being the rightful owner of the Vic - even though Mick put it up for sale. Though why would a little thing like that make a difference in EE!!!!

I think the theory about Stuart and Frankie could be right. Stuart did mention he messed up with Zara, so might be another chance and would put a strain on a happy relationship (they never stay happy do they?)

We do need some eye candy in EE. Jack really isn't for me (too flash and that scene where he pulled up next to Mel in a flash sports car, wearing a turtle neck and with Sade on the radio really put me off). Kush is handsome but more the same and I would never hear anything Max says. Sean Slater was more my cup of tea - he had a sense of humour - and I thought Dean was handsome but a horrid, horrid character so not really fanciable. Keanu was also handsome but very naïve (and far too young). We need a nice looking man with a bit of wit and mischief but isn't some gun wielding one dimensional gangster type.

EE has a habit of churning out similar characters. The women are all gobby but vulnerable and the men all end up doing something shifty eventually. I like characters like Suki, Raine and Honey because they stand out.

EE women ;
Karen is a good one ( when they made her nice) but she has disappeared lately.
Tina is a recycled teenager.
Honey can be odd at times. Quirky though.
Linda is ok at the moment but I couldn't bear drunk Linda!
Sharon is a gangsters moll
Rainie is complex. I think she could turn evil again easily.
Kat and Stacey ( same pod, mouthy )
Kathy is a bit more realistic for someone her age ( despite the coming back from the dead thing!)
Sulky : female version of Phil
Tiffany : a bit deluded
Twitney: needs to learn to avoid horrible men! Bless her.
Shirley : scary
Denise : nice enough. Has had hard life.
Kim : funny , but not around much atm
Best one was Pam : loved her for being normal ! I Miss her.
Tracey: best barmaid ever and quite wise.
I'm sure I've missed out a few !
