How? The cheque is written from the Lucy Beale foundation account so if she cashes it, it will just bounce for insufficient funds. The only way she could get the cash is if max sends it to her from his bank account- which he wouldn’t do because he now knows Ian’s plan. So all max has to do is tell Bobby the money has been transferred to his account by mistake and he’s sent it back. Then Bobby can send it to Linda. And Bobby won’t believe that max manipulated him because Ian is the one who chose Linda for the award.

If Linda cashes the cheque and it bounces then the missing 20K will be discovered ( only Ian and Max know atm) However the rest doesnt make sense. It was sent from Shazzas laptop, from her login. ip address will be the pub one. So it will look like she sent it to Max and she will go dddaaaaaan . Unless Ians plan is for both Shazza and Max to cop it . Actually thats probably it and then he will be King of the Vic < ian smug smile here >

If I was max I would go to Bobby and say “what you playing at? Why’d you send the money to my account?” And then Bobby will ask Sharon and she will work it out or else she’ll think she made a mistake and max just sends it back to them. Ian’s plan is foiled! Mwahahahaha!

Yes Stuart was lovely in that scene. I hate that he was such a baddie at the start because it always springs to mind whenever he is nice and I just can’t trust him

Agree re Stuart last night - I reckon they've been on here again and that scene was partly about explaining his personality transformation because 'Rainie has changed him'

Ian had always been mostly horrible : no wonder Cindy hired a hit man to try and finish him off once years ago!
His not a pleasant character really but this latest story line is making him like a cartoon baddie.
I agree the money thing is so far fetched.
