Mick and Linda have to end up back in the Vic. There is no point to them otherwise. I'm not sure how given Linda's probable s with alcohol though .

I agree the mick/Tina/Shirley backstory is being re-written as Katy was talking about Shirl being a bad mum 'again' and has mentioned her leaving him a few times so he/they needed to go into care but back then they didn't know Shirl was his mum! That was only revealed what 5-7years ago wasn't it? Prior to that they were all brothers and sisters weren't they? Doesn't stack up at all! Confused I'm trying to remember Shirl/Tina's mums name - drowned in the bath I think? Christ how many people have died in that pub? Archie, Bradley, Abbie, Tina's mum (and dad I think?)
