I always get the impression that when he does that intense staring off into the distance thing Mick is reading the lines from a PowerPoint presentation. I know it's only a TV show but she didn't sleep with him - she abused him.

Every time they put the camera on her I cringe. She plays the 'concerned ' but deep down evil character quite well I think. I do believe she is guilty here.

Just the way she said it but mick didn’t react to it sou suppose nothing in it. Not unknown that a serial child abuser is discovered and then discreetly “moved on” to pastures new rather than reported to the police.

I agree with this. Horrible and twisted I know but abusers dont think they are wrong, they think their behaviour is justified in some way.

In her mind she cared for them and has probably groomed them and Mick in this way.
I think they are doing this quite well.

Not sure if anyone has watched the Michael Jackson documentaries but the young boys/ men involved did not realise until a long time after that it was abuse.
They were groomed, as were their parents.

Didn't Mick know Stuart from when they both were in care? Stuart took the blame for something Mick did didn't he and alluded to being abused too? If this is the case, I wonder if this is how he realises that it was abuse from his childhood or how one of the other Carter's will realise why Mick is not himself.

Stuart went to prison because of Mick when they were teens. Not sure why.

Hello been lurking on this thread and just had a wondering about Stuart. I wonder if he will see Mick with Katy and turn back into Nasty Stuart because she abused him too? And then Mick will know she did abuse him after all. Stuart might do something to her and end up in prison 'for' Mick again?
Of course this hinges on them both having been in the same home and I don't know if they were!

I don't know either. They were friends as teens but I'm not sure of that was from school, care or just where they lived. How long were Mick and Tina in care for? Before this story I thought it was when Mick was small after Shirley tried to drown him in the bath.

They have rewritten the Carter back stories so many times it's hard to keep up.
Tina and Stuart have history. Mick was in and out of care homes. Shirley and Babe were pretty horrible back in the day : all the hassle with the dad ( Stan) and their mum.
They must have been the neighbours from hell!
