I don't think they'll bother with this lockdown. It will be so out of synch with Real Time that it will be pointless. I don't mind them not following real life closely in that respect - It simply won't work given they don't have a crystal ball to see what the situation is going to be. I am surprised they haven't inserted a "Wooo". A vaccine!" scene though.

I was only kidding about the pubs and lockdown and the various rules ( which they are all breaking anyway) Of course it's not true and they can't keep up etc! I know my jokes tend to fall flat at times..

Yes, I do agree with you. Janine butcher was the same at times , but Suki is in a different league even to her! Usually they become softer ( like Karen) or a cardboard cut out 'gangster' ( like Ronnie was) but Suki is a female version of Phil. Hard as nails. No prisoners!

I can't understand what character the writers want Ben to play. Do they even know themselves? Hes either tough/gangster or completely pantomine gormless including the affected walk. I' imagine they are trying to make him a somewhat vulnerable character because of his hearing loss and being 'in love' with Callum, but he comes across as the village idiot at times.

Ah they can kill off the main policeman, Kush can defy covid and join Alfie in Spain for a month, Callum can say he lied and made up Kush’s name because he felt under such pressure from the senior detective, Jack can destroy evidence, Kush can live in the attic for awhile, Grey can find some legal loophole and get him off. This is EE. They can come back from the dead in EE!
