Since they came back from the first lockdown break it's been awful. I know having to distance etc is hard, but the writers have appeared to given up on anything remotely sensible. The mick story is sad but going back to old storylines with them all has been done to death. Peter being like that with Ian must be leading somewhere but who knows where! Kush can't stay I hiding from Phil forever and I thought Suki was going to throw them out if they didn't pay the rent? What's going on there? Gray has had a character transplant and people moving in with him is bonkers really! (Especially as he hated anyone else in his house less than a year ago. )

What I don’t I don’t understand is why Kat doesn’t just say to Phil “give us our share or we cut a deal with the police by handing you to them on a plate.”

Peter is using the fact it's Ian's grandson to manipulate this situation ! Which isn't right really. Why has Ian changed his will now? Maybe his worried Phil really will kill him this time or something?
When they mention or here from old characters like this it usually does mean they tend to show up , but where Lauren and a child would stay I've no idea. I suppose Peter would expect her to stay with him and Ian and Kathy (if she did come back? )

Why didn't she try to claim some benefits instead? Working as cleaners can't earn much as it is for London rents etc so top ups are needed and they have seven (?) children too, One of which ( cherry) isn't even hers! All this could be just a plot device for Peters revenge on Ian and Bobby though? He hates Bobby , which is understandable I guess. As Bobby is now a Muslim he won't be celebrating Christmas which ,given it's usually a misery fest , might be a good thing eh?

I think Peter made the whole fire up (hence not telling Max, he will phone Lauren). The whole thing is shit. Gray historically (even without the DV) is not a kind lovely man who would take in Shirl and Tina but I can see that Tina could be the way out of the murder storyline

It s a story too far of course, but other characters have got away with murder in the past and not been caught out etc? I hope this isn't the case here , but the writers are a bit weird just now. Or it could be Tina he targets?
