I've missed the point of the car thefts. As always, I stop paying attention when a storyline annoys me, then later wish I'd kept up with it all!
Why did they all get involved? What were they going to do with the cars after stealing them?
Surely Callum would be able to listen to the phonecall to find out who called the police?
Why did Callum say he couldn't see the suspect then try to arrest him? Was he trying to talk Kush round? I had thought he was going to pretend he hadn't seen him.
This storyline could go on and on 😖

I’m a bit baffled by the bug in the garage. Callum planted it there ages ago, so why didn’t it pick up the conversation with Raymond’s big time gangsta granny arranging to sell the child? Surely mr nasty detective would have leapt at the chance to get both her and Philth at the same time?

I was pleased to see that the police force aren't as understaffed as they claim, since they were able to send what 4 cars and 10 officers to a tip-off about a robbery at an insurance office, with full blues and twos and yes to why Kat/Shirley did a runner - if they had stayed upstairs cleaning then no one would have suspected they were involved! Gets more ridiculous every episode! Presumably Linda is shaping up to give Bezos a run for his money with her Superhero costumes for kids with autism? I despair atm

Kush is still gambling and has changed into another person from the man married to Shaba and the man who used go running early every morning. There was an episode where Mo tried to get him to flog Fat Elvis’s coats a couple of years ago and he was losing sleep over having dodgy gear. Now he is stealing high end cars with the Mitchels. I don’t understand either now Phil and Ben drove out past the police, they were identified, are the police not able to arrest them? Does it matter if Kush’s fingerprints are on the other car when the police saw Phil and Ben drive out in the stolen cars?
And seeing it’s an insurance company with three high end cars. there would surely be cctv in the Carpark??

I don't remember Kush doing that "scared puppy" look before this either. He was always a capable person back in the Shabnam days.

I thought about cctv in the car park but , as usual, it's some complex storyline designed to get Phil off the hook and problems with Callum and Ben and make Kush the bad guy. The police chief man is so horrible ; I almost want Callum to sort this out and get one over him his that nasty (which isn't how I normally think at all when it comes to upholding the law , honest ! )
I love how they all go into the pub as an alibi , which given that pubs are meant to be shut just now is a miracle.
They did the same last year when Keanu was meant to be killed off .. (but was saved)

The pub would have CCTV as well wouldn't it so would see that Phil wasn't there at the time Sharon stated?
