I would say
Hollyoaks is the best soap.

I hated Killing Eve 🤷🏼‍♀️

The new All Creatures Great and Small is unwatchable, the original was so much better.
We do not watch reality/ dancing/ bake off/ cooking shows

Sherlock Holmes is rubbish.

Couldn't get on with Game of Thrones.

Have never watched an episode of Downton Abbey.

All soaps are crap. I've managed to get to my sixties without watching one of them.

What I don’t get is why you’d watch something where all the storylines are both (a) miserable and (b) everyday.

I mean, I can appreciate a bit of literary/tv/cinema misery on an epic scale (an asteroid is about to crash into earth/Heathcliff digs up his beloved Cathy’s dead body/Key Character is horribly killed in the middle of a daring heist in the Spanish National Mint), but honestly, don’t people get enough low-key family feuds, sibling rivalries, gambling, evictions, unscrupulous bosses etc in real life?

I’m have to partly agree with a PP about Line of Duty - it’s nonsense. I quite enjoy it but I have to turn of my brain.

9pm ITV dramas are always shit.
Line Of Duty was preposterous.
Suranne Jones is the same in everything.
David Morrissey can’t act.
Taskmaster is boring and not remotely funny.
Soap operas are now completely shit.

Apart from the line about being entitled to be questioned by an officer at least a two grades above you that they mentioned every ten minutes, what was wrong with line of duty? We really enjoyed it.

Totally agree that Chris, Freddie and Paddy are the best ever on Top Gear. Really funny and informative without resorting to nasty humour of Clarkson et al.

Strictly went downhill when they stopped doing proper dances and made the professionals into "celebrities"

TV is all ‘Celebrity this that or the other’ .
You can just imagine the conversations with the agents. ‘I’ve booked you on Celebrity Something or Other’.’ Oh god Noooo!’.
What happened to these shows with the general public taking part and winning prizes? I’m sick of seeing the same faces paraded around who are only famous because they appeared on some reality show once.

David Attenborough programmes are boring and depressing.
Brian Cox programmes are simply dull.
Time Team was just bejumpered men staring at holes.
Fawlty Towers wasn’t funny.
Any Star Trek series ever has been utter nonsense.
Frasier is nowhere near as funny as it thinks it is.
Everybody in Cheers was vile.
The West Wing is over-emotional, American self-mythologising, dewy-eyed bollocks.

Pies are much better with a soggy bottom, I tried blind baking even for the shortest time and I got a hard as fuck pie. GBBO give bad pie advice.
