So, there's no X Factor this year, and the Voice ended before Lockdown.

Not sure if this will fill the gap?

I really enjoyed this show although I feel like we’re probably the only people in the whole country watching it. All the acts were really credible and I was rooting for all of them. Agree that Chris was the weak link. He wasn’t very good on the One Show either. He’s likeable as a person but he isn’t experienced as a presenter and it shows, plus I’m not sure the ‘Dermot’ vibe was quite right for this show. Someone younger and cooler would have worked better. It was almost patronising to have a guy in a suit turn up to keep things on track.

Can anyone tell me what Perrie had done to her hair?!? I mean, it looked like she had a silver foil tail sticking out of her head yo me 😳

Also her and Leigh-Anne's dresses were far too revealing for prime time Saturday night TV imho. But then I am rather an old fuddy duddy 😉

Much prefer how Jade was dressed, even though she was fully covered up and didn't need to be!

Chris Ramsey was wrong as host. It should have had someone younger really. Dermot works as a presenter because X factor has a range of people older and younger , but this wasn't like that.
Still, I hope they all do well. They had some good singers and talent.

I agree, Chris was awkward, his jokes grated on me, and I’m not sure the girls seemed that enthralled by him either on a number of occasions.

None of the bands was my cup of tea really, but the show was good fun. The LM girls came across really well, and it showed they cared about their craft.

Since September had the best band name. I wonder if any of the others will stay together for a bit and try to make it?

I liked Since September. They were my favourites along with Ychange (don’t like the name) and Jasper Blue.

I think Y Change first song perhaps cost them the show. Their second song was so much better. Eden has a lovely voice. The first song was a bit all over the place. I imagine most people voted after the first group of songs, whilst they should have waited to their secomd songs, which was far better.

However, I did like Since September, and voted for them.

Melladaze did better once they ditched the dancing (despite being a dance band). The girl vocal group were better on their second song also.

I thought Chris was doing okay when he was being straight, but his jokes fell flat. Also, after every score, he would say ‘naice’ whether they’d scored ninety-nine or nine.
