So, there's no X Factor this year, and the Voice ended before Lockdown.

They seem nice girls though to be fair.
I don't know much about them or their music , but they seem pretty down to earth.

I liked it, I find the girls refreshing tbh as judges than the usual formats. The guys were cringe, some of it uncomfortable, but I guess that’s part of a boy band Grin

I’ve bought tickets for their tour, they put on a cracking show. I imagine tours will be pushed back depending on COVID , but it’s understandable why artists are announcing tours now, the venues need help as soon as it’s possible.

It was fairly cringey but dd1 (9) enjoyed it & I think I'm a bit old for boybands so not their target market!
I've bought tickets for the tour too, dd's surprise birthday present unless it gets pushed back again....

Harry Styles definitely is not washed up, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan.
His tour sold out out in minutes and both his solo albums have done brilliantly.
Niall has done well too.
The other two, not so much.

This was filmed a while ago, the prize was to support them in the (cancelled) tour in July 2020, now optimistically moved to supporting them in their tour in May 2021.

I am also liking the all-over-in-one-night format and, compared to x-factor's-got-talent, the reduction in sob stories. I'd have to watch it anyway as I have a Mixer in the house!

I remember my dad moaning at me for not doing my coat up in winter time!
The girls have strange fashion sense at times , but they are young and sassy and not old like me!
I am enjoying this show as it's fast moving and the girls seem to get on with each other. The singers are all pretty good as well. I wonder how many auditioned for this?

We're enjoying this. Dd and I have seen Little Mix many times. However, Dh and I are taking more notice than dd! There are some really talented contestants and it's refreshing not to have too many rounds that drag it out over loads of episodes. Jade is excellent with constructive criticism. The mixed band look like they could actually be really good. Bucks Fizz of the 2020's? I love a bit of cheesy pop Grin

I liked the twins I think they would have been a good addition to the group. I think it was just the super fab lad who was a little shaky. But they could have had them all like s club 7.

I think the twins would have unbalanced the group. The two girls were an obvious choice, plus the black lad (can't remember any names).
I'm sure they were going for a 2 girls/2 boys combo from the start because of the girls being so good. So the only choices were the girls plus the twins, which wouldn't have worked, and would have meant that only 3 acts were chosen, or the 2 girls and 2 boys they did choose because the other boy was rubbish.
I think the twins were at a disadvantage because there were two of them.

This is what I thought too. But what I don't understand is how are the twins being treated as one act when they are two separate individual people? Surely if one could sing well and the other couldn't, the one who could shouldn't be held black because of the one who couldn't?!?

I've seen that happen on BGT or X Factor, or possibly both. The judges have told one party in a double act to ditch the other.

One of LM did ask them during the audition whether they'd ever sung alone, and one of them said something along the lines of "that would be weird".

I'm surprised the twins were allowed to enter as "one act" too. Didn't seem fair on them, and there's also the risk that they wouldn't have gelled as well with other group members had they been picked.
