Also, seems like this episode they seem to be living totally normally like covid isn’t an issue!

I must admit I hated them all slightly less with the current episode!

Pisses me off that Sam helps out once at a good bank and does it to learn about others and their lives... bet she never goes back without the cameras.

I like Nelly and Arthur, Greg and Billie. They're not a perfect family and the kids' behaviour is nowhere near perfect, but they don't try and show it as anything other than what it is, and they seem happy. Both the kids have good hearts, although yes, they are very spoilt.

Sam and Big Paul have a very odd relationship, and I can imagine him being very controlling. Sam seems to be constantly seeking his approval and changing how she is to be who he wants. His mum was odd, overbearing and controlling, and she's brought up her sons to be similar. This obsession with only using certain names is utterly weird. I can't imagine why any woman would want to be with either Big Paul or his brother. Also, the way they are with their children is odd which I can imagine was initiated by Big Paul and Sam has dutifully followed. Little Paul is obviously going to end up a carbon copy of his dad. I can imagine that behind closed doors they live in a very oppressive environment.

Anyone find it odd when Paul refused to get out of bed on his 1st day at school & Sam didn't know what to do?

My daughter didn't want to go to school last week and I had to drag her there kicking and screaming! They totally would never show themselves doing that!

I think she seems incredibly self conscious with him. It's really quite sad.

Billie and Greg seem utterly comfortable in each other's company.

I loved that bit! You can definitely get a 4 year old out of bed! They’ve not done him any favours with the lack of routine.

She was in business with sister and mother and since he's been on the scene, they're in direct competition.

I'm sure he'll liaise with production to get a free, all family holiday in exotic location under the premise of big proposal and she tells him to f* (and his weird, enabling mum) off.

Hehe, I came on here to check if anyone else is talking about them not being able to get little Paul out of bed. I think as soon as Sam made the call to the school she was cringing internally. Sometimes you don't realise how cringe something is until you say the words. I agree little Paul is a mini version of his dad.
I'm always shocked when they mention how young they are! Sam isn't even 30 in this series. Thankfully for her, she has all the time in the world to find both herself and a relationship with a man who truly loves her.

Does anyone else think that Little Paul is just a little shit?

God I know that sounds awful but the kid grates on me.

Aww, I think they did the right thing by sending him to school to mix with other kids. And even big Paul seemed happy to hear he made some friends. I'm not sure he's a little shit, just a bit pandered to and a bit precious.
I do worry slightly for Sam having given control of part of her business to Paul. I light of the fact that he's made it very clear that he doesn't yet see this as a long-term/lifetime relationship, I think she would be wise to protect herself and keep her business separate.

But to give big Paul his credit, I do think the whole 'will he, won't he... what's with kissing him mum on the lips'.... etc is what keeps the show interesting. He adds a sort of omg factor in all the wrong ways that keeps people talking. And I think that once he proposes and the show is just about exotic holidays and spa breaks, it's going to be much less interesting. I do wish they would bring back Paul's mum too, she was also very entertaining to watch.

I don’t think little Paul is a little shit, he’s just a bit over indulged. They have made school into a massive deal I’m not surprised he was a bit reluctant and was probably aware of the anxiety of his parents. He would have got dragged out of bed in this house though!

Can’t agree about Sam and Billie’s mum, her voice is like nails down a blackboard, and those ridiculous teeth.....

That scene where they were quaffing champagne at Champneys while fake emoting over the sadness of food banks made me want to throw things at the TV. Talk about being tone deaf.

Sam always acts as if she has just discovered (insert sad thing here) and now it’s her role to enlighten the rest of us!

They need to watch Paul and Rosie’s diet. They always seem to be eating trash, and Paul is getting a very fat face for a four year old.
