Can it really be S8?

This is my favourite ‘hate watch’! So much grasping materialism but I can’t take my eyes off it!

Anyone else watching?

Ooh yes now you’ve said it Paul is quite controlling. And they do eat slot of junk. Also, not sure how healthy it is to always talk about big Paul’s weight loss In front of the kids?

Starksforthewin · 26/09/2020 20:41

I agree Natural about the sitting on worktops. I never allowed this. Hygiene and safety reasons. Split second and they can fall off.

Agree regarding the screen time and junk food. It seems so excessive.

dressinggownwearer · 27/09/2020 17:18

Definitely a hate watch for me too! I literally can't stand baby Paul and I'm really not sure why! The junk and screens thing irritated me a lot! Also thought back to when she had Paul and it was all home cooked organic! Don't think an Aero yoghurt and a Chinese take away are organic! And I can't believe how late Paul goes to bed! Whilst Rosie is god knows where?! Ridiculous parenting! And they clearly don't think there's an issue with any of it as thye happily show it all on tv!

Starksforthewin · 28/09/2020 01:39

I think dressinggown because he is being brought up as if he is the second coming. He was a super cute baby but has been ruined and now comes across as spoilt, greedy and whinging.
It is beyond me that he is allowed to reject his own bed and dictate where he sleeps - at school age!
Such poor parenting on show from both of these couples, and it can be seen just how this contributes to a society where young people are growing up with a massive sense of entitlement.
Just because they have money, it shouldn’t mean that discipline has to disappear.
It’s a real insight for me though into a lifestyle far removed from my own family and friends.

It's all very repetitive . Sam 'selling' personality vacumn Paul in her pieces to camera. Endless photoshoots & over the top birthday parties. And doing activities the children are too young for, resulting in tears etc (the 'big boy bike' for a 3year old & the man dressed as dinosaur for Nelly & Arthur ).

MsMiaWallace · 28/09/2020 13:31

I can't wait for Sam to get pregnant again especially if it's a boy.
It'd really stir it up for baby Paul lol

dressinggownwearer · 28/09/2020 15:13

I think you're right @Starksforthewin it's Sam and big Paul that have made him
The irritating little wingebag that he is! I also found it ridiculous that he could say 'liked' properly at 5 years old?! Likeded????

DipSwimSwoosh · 28/09/2020 23:14

Have to agree. I don't care for Billie and Greg at all but have always supported Sam. I thought she genuinely loved being a mum. I still do. But I think she is really bad at some parts of it. Her kids are spilt beyond belief. Screens are constant. As is junk food. And baby Paul is so babied.

Nikhedonia · 28/09/2020 23:26

I much prefer Greg and Billie, although Nelly and Arthur are incredibly spoilt children.

I used to like Sam, but she seems so disingenuous now. Plus I can't understand why she puts up with Paul. He's horrible to her

WhoseKids · 28/09/2020 23:42

I think both of Sam's DC had bottles I. That episode. Sam a d Paul are quite open a out not want structure or tie table. I feel sorry for their son and his teachers going to school after going to bed at 11pm . Their son isn't a baby. Poor Rosie does not get a look in, unless she is being forced into a horse, reliving Sam's dream.

They show the DC warts and all. Any and all naughty bit will end up on the programme. DC just aren't well behaved 100% of the time.

I much prefer Billie and Greg. The neighbour complaining about house plans because of deer was farcical. Replacing the kitchen was ridiculous.

I can't remember the rules between lockdowns. It seems strange them going to Ibiza though.

Nikhedonia · 29/09/2020 10:55

My DD would be so tired going to bed at 11pm! I think they will find that when he goes to school they will end up having a structure as Paul will be too tired to stay up until 11pm

LuckyAmy1986 · 29/09/2020 14:42

I prefer Billie and Greg, but agree that their children are far too spoilt.

Sam and Paul.. just awful. On the first episode she got so excited about him saying she was wife material having been a "housewife" throughout lockdown. I don't get why she hangs off his every word. Makes me feel a bit sick tbh! And baby Paul...not his fault of course but I don't think he's going to turn out very well. Someone above said he is treated as the second coming.. absolutely!

WhoseKids · 29/09/2020 21:58

I can't understand why Sam wants to get married so badly.

Nikhedonia · 30/09/2020 22:57

I can understand why she would want to get married, I can't understand why she would want to get married to Paul, though

MsMiaWallace · 01/10/2020 08:52

I don't believe they haven't had Botox either.
Are they after free Botox? Lol.

Sweetpea84 · 01/10/2020 10:41

I can’t understand why Paul won’t propose is it a control thing? Paul gives me the creeps tbh. Love Arthur he reminds me of my boy very comical.

Nikhedonia · 01/10/2020 14:41

The whole "I haven't had Botox thing was ridiculous" Sam's forehead and eyebrows are such a giveaway

MsMiaWallace · 01/10/2020 15:15

Her horsey mate... can't remember her name... is horrible.

Nikhedonia · 01/10/2020 20:34

Luisa Zissman? I really like her! She seems to know that Paul is a bellend.

Just caught up... Baby Tony Hmm poor child!

popcorndiva · 02/10/2020 08:47

Do the women in the family of the knightleys have any say in names.i know they keep going on about that it's traditional but not even getting the middle name

Baby Paul Tony
Baby Tony Paul

I have been watching series 1 on britbox and the difference now is astonishing. They have a family bbq and it is simply a bbq with no chefs, balloons, place settings. In that series Paul seemed to have a job, wonder when he decided it was easier living off Sam

Sam's new clothes look cheap but I looked them up and she is charging £50 a dress. Plus their website is shocking.

MsMiaWallace · 02/10/2020 09:16

Yes I thought they looked cheap!!

All that unused space in the bedrooms of her house too!
I just thought it's gonna cost a bomb to keep that house warm in winter!

Big Paul reminds me of a nasally, snotty kid you'd get at school.

Nikhedonia · 02/10/2020 10:18

Paul Tony and Tony Paul GrinGrin I wonder how they came up with those names?!

MsMiaWallace · 02/10/2020 11:45

I liked some of Billies swimwear on the shoots. What brand is she promoting does anyone know?

popcorndiva · 02/10/2020 12:31

@msMiaWallace she promotes In The Style. But they do collections or launches every couple of months, its very fast fashion
