Anyone other than me and a couple of others on the Selling Sunset thread discovered this awesome reality series? The charter clients are insane, the crew is so bitchy (towards each other and the guests) and it’s just the most excellent escapism.

I find Ben strangely attractive as well. That laugh is hideous though. I’m on season 7 now so almost ready to move on to med.

Cracking up at the cover of Captain Lee's book. He's so dry and although he is relatively forthright with his opinions on the crew, I would love to know what he really thinks about the guests. As @RockingMyFiftiesNot says, they really are vile at times: A combination of entitlement and free-flowing alcohol. When I first started watching Below Deck in 2017 I used to think that I could do Kate's job. That it would be quite cool to experience for a season. Now I know for sure I couldn't stand it because the guests are just awful in many cases. I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut if someone was treating me that way. There is a really horrible scene in one of the early eps where the guests are openly discussing a crew member's breasts in her presence. And then on Sailing Yacht there is a scene where Madison (one of the interior crew) is picked up and swung around by this arrogant tosser. She's begging to be put down, clearly is distressed and not playing along but he keeps ignoring her and then, when he finally relents and releases her, he walks behind her aggressively close and saying "Don't say anything to anyone. You'd better not tell." It gave me the chills. If someone will behave that way on camera, what on earth are they capable of? I actually think the sailing yacht guests were at times worse than the regular BD guests.

Almost finished season 7 and I’m really uncomfortable with the way Rhylee is treated. The men have decided she has an attitude problem right from the off because she stands up for herself and they constantly bait her into losing her temper and then sit back and bitch about her terrible attitude.

I felt for Rhylee & Jen. The female deckhands always get a bit of raw deal but these two stand out.

@GinWithASplashOfTonic yes, absolutely agree about Adrian. He's so full of being all yoga/new age hippy and yet he's a total slime bag actually. I wouldn't have hesitated to tell him so either in Laura's shoes.

Eurgh Adrian was vile. Even worse for doing it in that 'but I'm a nice chill guy!' way. The way he said 'pleasures of the flesh' made my skin crawl. His food did look amazing though

Yes his food looked ok but I'd still rather Adam or Ben in the Galley ideally Ben! Have a very soft spot for him

Season 7 all of the women are in tears the whole time with the men acting like schoolyard bullies. I think Kevin is worse than Ashton. He’s vile.
