Anyone other than me and a couple of others on the Selling Sunset thread discovered this awesome reality series? The charter clients are insane, the crew is so bitchy (towards each other and the guests) and it’s just the most excellent escapism.

I wondered if 8 would have filmed as the charters are usually done off season I thought, Feb time ish? When is it due to drop?

Also would recommend a little side not to watch any Watch What Happens Live with Below Deck cast members in. Just a little extra but not essential.

They cut it short in March. I think filming is for 6 weeks? So maybe they just cut the last two?

With the sailing one it feels like they are going for a back to back to back run all year round but the the pandemic struck. I wonder if they will still be able to provide the same eps though and just show more to storylines and drag them out.

Bobby in BDM reminds me facially of Damien Lewis.

Just finished season 6. IT was really good! Adrian was a massive creep. Ugh. Kate was on form. Loads of crazy guests and angry crew members. Who leaves used condoms on the nightstand? What is wrong with some people. Still feel sick thinking about that one. 'It was juicy!'

Just about to start season 7.

That condom was (not envy) those charter guests were awful.

How did you feel about the whole Caroline saga ?

I think Kate and Josiah got very mean girls just before she left which wasn’t cool but Caroline would have driven me insane so I can understand why they resorted to that. She was one of those permanent victims who life happens to, they’re never to blame for what happens around them and they can’t cope with any kind of challenge as they label it as bullying. I’ve worked alongside people like that and the only way I can cope with their perpetual victim stance is completely disengage with them, which adds fuel to their ‘hard done to’ stance. It’s exhausting working with someone like that as they can’t work as part of a team.

I couldn't stand Josiah he brought the really bitchy side of Kate out. They formed their own clique of resting bitch face. And they left poor Caroline out in the cold

I mean Caroline did no favours to herself which did add to it. But Kate went about it all the wrong way egged on bu Josiah

I had a soft spot for Josiah.

They seem to hire more volatile crews in the later series’s, to the extent that it got irritating.

Mr Foam was hilarious. And so cringe. But quite alright at the same time and yet still managing to be obnoxious. The perfect guest 😆

Watching Mr Foam scream at Eddie with him in a headlock ‘MORE FOAM BOSUN’ is a personal highlight 😂😂😂

Is there a Summer House thread? I love Drunk Kyle 😁. Also with Below Deck do you need to start with season 1 or can you jump in at a later season?

@YgritteSnow I think you do need to start from the start just so that you have the lingo down and it's a good starting point. But it doesn't really matter if you start from a different point. However I'd watch season 6 before season 7. And I'd watch season 2 before 3 and likewise season 4 before season 5. Just because that's when definite crew changes are.

I’m on season 2 of summer house. I meant to watch it ages ago when it was introduced on Vanderpump rules and only watched the first Ep because Kyle was a douche.

Madison BDS said she’s dating Sam from Summerhouse in the reunion so I thought I had better catch up to find out who he is 🤣

Hello! We are both addicted to Below Deck, we’ve seen them all which is annoying as we have to wait a whole week for the next episode.... what the hell! So annoying in this day and age 😁 current series of Below Deck Med is ace as all the heads of department are women wahoo!! And the stupid deckhands are called on their misogyny haha

Best captain is Lee for sure. Captain Glen (Sailing Yacht) is so dull and blah. Sailing in general seems a weird mix with luxury, doesn’t really work as everything goes flying!

Who's your favourite Captain Lee or Captain Sandy??? I'm all caught up now I'm so addicted to these types of programmes!
