Anyone other than me and a couple of others on the Selling Sunset thread discovered this awesome reality series? The charter clients are insane, the crew is so bitchy (towards each other and the guests) and it’s just the most excellent escapism.

I’m baffled by the cheesy themed stuff, treasure hunts, fancy dress etc. So naff and tacky. Like Butlins-on-Sea.

The guests get a big discount on the charter so it attracts probably a different type of guest to usual.

That makes sense, @Jay55. No one in their right mind would ok to the filming if they’re paying through the nose for a 3 day break. Even a big boat is claustrophobic, so add in a camera crew and it’s hardly relaxing or luxurious.

I've just finished watching the first season on Netflix.

I couldn't stand that JC and wanted someone to wipe that smarmy, smirk off her face.

I was praying that she would get thrown out!

I just couldn't do that job for any amount of tips. Those friends of Adriennes who treated the crew like slaves and that woman who said to the bloke "you need to speak to them about their service, I should'nt have to reach across the table"

Then expecting all of their cases to be unpacked.

They were so new money and classless.

I would have got that woman's linen outfits, complete with tags and thrown em overboard!

Just seen that the cast of BD season 8 is out!!! Only returner from I can tell is 🥁🥁🥁🥁 EDDIE!!! so excited about this as long as Rockie doesn't show up

I've stopped with the current season of med, just reading the gossip after. Sandy just drove me insane and I find Rob creepy and weird.

Tom is a stroppy toddler of a man. He’s awful. Apparently Malia has dumped him for cheating on her a couple of times

Haven’t caught up with this week’s episode yet. Agree that Rob is intense. I think his tendency to mumble makes it worse. Jess needs to chill too. She’s ridiculously jealous. Poor Aesha. She’s so friendly & is trying her best to get on with everyone despite feeling homesick & down. I’m quite liking Bugs. She’s a true leader: level headed, organised & fair. I love Kate as Chief Stew but I’d rather work with Bugsy.

Eddie is coming back? Oh he's my all time fave (apart from the Rocky business)

I've now watched all of BD, on season 3 of BDM and only have 3 days left of my hayu trial 😬

Of all the British crew I think I like Tom the least. I've tried to like him and stick up for the fellow Brit but I just can't.

Agree that Rob is very intense and yy to the mumbling.

I feel really sorry for Aesha she seems so lovely.

The less said about Eddie and Rocky and concentrate on the Other two seasons of Eddie the better

Med is my favourite of all. Sailing is better than I expected it to be based on this thread. I'm uptodate on Med, can only be a couple to go then not sure what I'll do!

I've watched all of Below Deck and Below Deck Med, annoying it stopped at 18 on series 5. Could try sailing one.

Tom's tantrums are insane. His food seems so blah, it's not creative like Ben or amazing like Adrian, so the attitude seems so misplaced.

I much preferred Kiko.

Med is my favourite of all 3 I think.

Ben was by far my favourite chef. He had his tantrum moments but was funny and caring to the others.

Yay, there's a thread on Below Decks! I only discovered this wonderful programme by accident last week. Binged series one and two in about 4 days and now need to pay Prime for the rest.

I'm in love with Eddie and Ben. Ben is a genius chef and I can't believe the shit he has to take from guests. Didn't like Kat to start with, but she grew on me by series 2 when she was pissed all the time. Kate was funny, but definitely had a resting bitch face. Adrienne was power mad (worked with a few managers like that over the years). Kelley treated the pretty little deckhand lady dreadfully.

Capt Lee was a nice steady guy and I read somewhere that he is 75. Is that true? If so he looks amazingly good.

I hated the last episode of med. it isn't entertaining to watch a toxic relationship unravel like that. I wish I'd stayed not watching.

Captain Lee is 70, i think, he's my fave captain by far.
