Anyone other than me and a couple of others on the Selling Sunset thread discovered this awesome reality series? The charter clients are insane, the crew is so bitchy (towards each other and the guests) and it’s just the most excellent escapism.

Oh my, I just read some possible spoilers for season 5 of BDM! Anyone else watching it currently? I'm shocked but also not surprised, argh need people to discuss this with!

I'm not a fan of Hannah but I really dislike Sandy this season more than usual and it just seems everything is a setup and nothing is allowed to just happen.

Yes I'm liking captain Sandy less and less as the season goes on. When Bugs came on it really felt like they were setting something up rather than letting things happen naturally and I guess that's confirmed now.

I adore Kate, she makes me laugh so much. Obviously she's had some terrible moments but overall she keeps the show moving along.

Just got a Hayu subscription and dived into Below Deck Med. An ex of mine works on Yachts and turns out he knows Hannah (which knowing him probably translates to 'has slept with Hannah'). Thankfully DP is becoming as addicted as I am, so no guilt about hogging the TV

I'm still watching! I've not watched the latest episode which I think is due out today but I feel sad about Kiko going. I used to really like Sandy and Malia but I've gone right off them after all this.

I will catch up on the last two later, I wanted to watch back to back.
Saw the clip of Malians boyfriend and the prawns, he seems all ego like previous chefs. I'll miss Kiko.

As a general rule, I don't like Hannah and I do like Malia, but Malia really doesn't come out of this looking good. Whining about the cabins really annoyed me. Plus now she looks horribly vindictive. Sandy didn't handle the actual show down well at all, but Hannah wasn't clear - she said she didn't have a prescription and then she said she did. I've seen the photo she shared on Twitter, but the side with the prescription could be any box she's had, not necessarily the one she had on board.

Hannah was definitely in the wrong, but Malia was so sneaky and underhand about the whole thing, especially as she’d just thrown her toys out of the pram about the cabin situation

Those guests are awful. I don’t blame him being pissed off about the cake or the lobster but he’s a bit whiny about the break thing when it’s the guests fault, not his. It’s a day one anomaly.

I love Amalia but agree with the cabin and pic thing. Although Hannah was 100% wrong and attempting to flush stuff clearly. She also pretended it was more about her stability but that was Sandy trying to just give extra reasons. Not the main reason.

Honestly, the guests are awful and bleugh

I’m relatively new to the hideous yet addictive world of Below Deck. I binged the first 2 series on Netflix and then had to get the HayU trial on Prime to continue. So I’m now in the early stages of s3 of the normal BD series.

Rocky is a pain in the arse. She wants to be a chef but took a job as a stewardess. She wants to be a deckhand but took a job as a stewardess. She wants to be anything but a stewardess but took a job as a stewardess. Apart from the old ones; Amy, Eddie, Amy & Kate, oh and Connie, the rest seem to be useless and/or have no clear role. Why have they got Donnie the engineer doing deckhand grunt work? No wonder he was pissed off and didn’t know whether he was coming or going. He didn’t need to be such a cock about it all though.

And yes, the guests are awful. Money and no class. So much so that I wonder if they are plants.
