Anyone other than me and a couple of others on the Selling Sunset thread discovered this awesome reality series? The charter clients are insane, the crew is so bitchy (towards each other and the guests) and it’s just the most excellent escapism.

I would want captain sandy on my charter! And Kate as chief stew purely for the surly looks and sarcasm 😆

Maybe? They all merge into one. I liked the Galley kitchen in Valor, it had like 3 exits and the indoor dining was near the kitchen so you could hear Kate and Ben bickering

And 'expenses' are on top of that - i.e. the cost of your food, booze and fuel

I'd assumed food and drink would be all inclusive at that price but when you see some of the demands and the volume consumed, plus sometimes having to call for special delivery of items, you can see why food and drink would be additional expenses.
Its hard to think that they pay for a short trip what many people spend on a house

But if fuel isnt included what happens if the boat doesn't leave the dock due to bad weather? Because presumably you pay before the trip.

Also if you have to pay for food, why aren't they given like a menu. Or why isn't budget etc ever discussed because that must prevent creative juices to some extent.

I just remembered that my ex-boyfriend ended up as a deckhand on a famous super model’s yacht while travelling. Can’t believe I forgot about that until now! Was many years ago and I remember thinking at the time he was showing off/exaggerating as who hires some randomers to work on their luxury yacht?! I should have paid more attention

Yeah I thought they were an odd couple. Can't work out why though. Paget's flirting with Georgia, might partially explain why I think that though.

I’m not surprised Paget & Chiara are engaged. She put up with his blatant flirting & appalling behaviour which indicates that she’s insecure. He’s not particularly secure either (which is why he behaves like a young teenager when another woman gives him the slightest bit of attention). I think he’s the type that can’t bear to be alone...has probably had a bollocking from Ciara when she saw the extent of his flirting on the show & now making amends. I could also be wrong & they’re actually wildly in love with each other 😂

Re-watching Season 6 & not sure if I can sit through it, tbh. Kate becomes reality bitchy (her treatment of Caroline is painful to watch). Caroline is way too intense for living & working in such a confined space. Creepy chef is just shudder inducing. Chandler is useless. Rhylee won’t stop getting the arse with the entire deck team. That said, Ross is awful towards her - his piece to camera where he calls her “love” & says she just needs to listen, is mansplaining at its finest.
