Anyone other than me and a couple of others on the Selling Sunset thread discovered this awesome reality series? The charter clients are insane, the crew is so bitchy (towards each other and the guests) and it’s just the most excellent escapism.

New episode is up!

What happened with Jack and Aesha?

Wrongdissection · 07/07/2020 20:47

I was really rooting for them as well, I thought they were just perfect together.

Now binge watched Below Deck and Med and Sailing Yacht. I hope there will still be some Med episodes to air weekly but am sad I've finished. I don't want to rewatch them just yet as some of you have done - so what next? My guilty pleasure used to be Real Housewives of New York:/Beverley Hills but they seem crap now compared to BD

Never expected to see a delete message on this thread, did anyone see what it was about?

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 08/07/2020 12:03

RockingMyFiftiesNot- I'm now watching Summer House. It's not as good as below deck but it's still ok.

Make sure you have plenty of rose wine in stock.

CupcakesK · 08/07/2020 12:09

@RockingMyFiftiesNot that poster has had messages on other Boards I’m on deleted today. Must be a troll

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 08/07/2020 17:05

Thank you both

jay55 · 08/07/2020 20:42

I'm Doing summer house too after the recommendation. It's like a sex and the city prequel.

What would you all put on your preference sheet if you were going on a charter?

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 08/07/2020 21:33

Jay55 ooo good question. I'd like the local culture of where ever we are in the world reflected in the holiday. I'd want, fresh local produced food. Which I want to arrive at the table promptly. Lots of alcohol, never seen with an empty glass. All of the toys. Beach picnic. A themed night - not sure what theme though. Some sort of pamper session like a massage.

Sorry for the multiple posts Blush it kept saying it couldn't post and to retry.

Wrongdissection · 08/07/2020 22:44

I’d probably want a white party and a firework show on the shore. A beach picnic, naturally, and all the water toys.

Oh and like gourmet junk food available at all hours. So burgers, chicken, chips, pizza etc. No conch or mahi for me thank you very much 😂

OP posts:
jay55 · 08/07/2020 23:38

I would totally be insisting on oysters after this weeks ep.

The beach picnics always look such a faff for the crew so yes deffo put that on the list with fireworks.
I'd ask for a very specific cereal or something daft. And a shellfish tower with no prawns/shrimp.
And bowls of sweets to be produced whenever I'm served a drink. And I want lots of drinks.

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 08/07/2020 23:48

I'd like a tasting menu focused on local produce. Then another themed meal focused on what the chef considered his speciality to be. I love lobster and seafood so lots of that if local. Then chips and gravy at the end of the night after making the most of the all-inclusive alcohol.

Apart from food, I would like to see scenery only possible from a boat and maybe a tender trip to coves etc

If we win the lottery, I am definitely booking a charter trip!

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 08/07/2020 23:51

Oh - and if I do win the lottery and book a charter.... I think I would ask everyone on this thread to send me their full preference sheet and I'd choose who I wanted to go with me. I love my husband to bits but I think the charter trip would be so much fun with my fellow yachty addicts!

Which boat would you charter? I can’t decide, I thought Ohana looked nice at the time but maybe a little dated now. Or perhaps Sirocco.

I would have a beach bonfire one night and a 20s theme party the other night. Plus water toys and perhaps a water toy obstacle course that everyone (crew included) have to compete in

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 09/07/2020 07:50

I can't decide which yacht either. Love the sound of the obstacle course.

Wrongdissection · 09/07/2020 08:13

I would go for Scirroco for sure.

And I’m up for a MN charter. We could be like the charter that was a bunch of insta influencers who had never met each other in real life!

OP posts:
GinWithASplashOfTonic · 09/07/2020 09:15

I'd be happy with Sirocco or Valor. But beggars can't be choosers so would be happy with any of them.

Oh yes that obstacle course where the crew competed against the guests looked really fun.

Grin i love the idea of a MN charter.

jay55 · 09/07/2020 10:44

As long as it's not that tacky boat they had in Greece I'm not fussy.
