seriously. i'm watching it now for work and it is terribly upsetting. Claire Verity says 'i'm a bitch, i'm mean to them but it works', no touching, no eye contact, lots of talking about 'baby', presumably because she can't be arsed remembering the name... oh it's AWFUL.

my children did sleep in their own room from day one though BUT I fed whenever they wanted it
to be honest, the only reason I did this is cos H (soon tobe ex) didnt want his sleep disturbed - he must have read CV's book

NotAnOtter · 25/09/2007 21:29

me and dp bought spock with our first and loved it BUT we thought it was strict....

yogimum · 25/09/2007 21:29

i can't believe people hire her. I wouldn't let her look after my pet hamster let alone my baby.

morningpaper · 25/09/2007 21:29

The awful thing is that they are going to measure "success" as sleeping through the night, aren't they, not as producing happy secure children

yes Tamum

awful

Tamdin · 25/09/2007 21:29

couldn't even bring myself to watch it. how awful was she need i ask?!

mistressmiggins · 25/09/2007 21:30

she does look like woman from Dragons Den though - shes just as scary & ruthless

think sling guru is going to punch CV!

morningpaper · 25/09/2007 21:30

%%%%%%[=ROCKET=]>

ratfly · 25/09/2007 21:30

perhaps we should ignore her between 7pm and 7am, as she is clearly only attention seeking...

NoBiggy · 25/09/2007 21:30

Hate the WW ad too.

Tamdin · 25/09/2007 21:30

I needed a routine for sanity's sake, and he went in his own room at 10 weeks (loud sleeper!) - but I also love wearing him in a sling and am still happy to breastfeed him at night if that's what he wants..plus he spent most of the night in bed with me when we were in hospital...what am I?
