Even I can do better than two bits of cloth and a pin and I'm shit!

Haggisfish · 29/04/2020 21:34

I can’t believe he won that.

Roussette · 29/04/2020 21:34

Not sure dancerboy can sew!

It was hideously simple

Binglebong · 29/04/2020 21:34

I thought Ali's was quite good. Not my taste but it worked.

The winner though?!

HMSSophie · 29/04/2020 21:34

I can't sew but could have "made" Alex's horror myself

Halsall · 29/04/2020 21:35

I really don't think Matt needs to think more flamboyantly Hmm

Toddlerteaplease · 29/04/2020 21:35

That was not the best transformation!

BurnerPhone · 29/04/2020 21:35

Oh I just love Joe lycett! Alex is in trouble here

dillite · 29/04/2020 21:36

EYECANDY! Ok, only 1 or 2, but that's more than I have seen for ages.

Binglebong · 29/04/2020 21:37

Do we think using the modal for the final round is just because it takes so long to release the mannequin?

dillite · 29/04/2020 21:38

Fitting to an actual human is different to a mannequin- mannequin is much easier. Also, patterns are designed to fit a mannequin rather than a human.

fourquenelles · 29/04/2020 21:39

Some fabulous fabric here

Wolfcub · 29/04/2020 21:39

I love Matt's fabric

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 29/04/2020 21:39

Dancewear doesn't have to be seen close up. I ripped my float off halfway through a competition and danced with it pinned on, and I know somebody whose halterneck strap snapped so it was just held on with safety pins and tit tape. Braver than me!

But in this competition I don't think that will really fly as an excuse. He might still try it.

RomaineCalm · 29/04/2020 21:39

That llama fabric is lovely.

dillite · 29/04/2020 21:41

I am off to buy some of that Frida Kahlo fabric- my SIL loves her, so I shall make her a dress.

Binglebong · 29/04/2020 21:41

I know Dillitte, I was being cheeky and can't fit to either.

Jellykat · 29/04/2020 21:41

Oh come of it Dancerboy... i'll be surprised if he can make it crisp in stretch fabric!

Roussette · 29/04/2020 21:42

Love the Frida fabric. And the parrots

And the fish

CoolCarrie · 29/04/2020 21:43

Ive got a shirt dress made of the Frida Kahlo material, by a company called Frock And Roll, it’s fab and had a lot of attention so your sil will love it. The detail on it is lovely.

Haggisfish · 29/04/2020 21:44

Oooh I love the koi carp material!

BitOfFun · 29/04/2020 21:44

Yes, the Frida fabric is fabulous.

Binglebong · 29/04/2020 21:44

What was that strange look from Liz's model? They really focused on him for a minute.

Haggisfish · 29/04/2020 21:44

Poor Liz-foot in mouth!Grin

dillite · 29/04/2020 21:46

Llama fabric! I made DD a top out of it last year, it looked so fun when on.
