Thought better start a thread as no one else had

Next sat looks good - with poor ruby struggling to juggle work and harmony

And matty pushes jade to the limit

Just an announcement that no doctor was coming. Why not? The ED wasn’t exactly busy and we’ve seen various doctors go out to incidents many times.

To sat nothing about the fact that the ambulance service can presumably also call on doctors from St James' and any other local hospitals.

QueenofmyPrinces · 21/04/2020 08:22

I really like the episode - I actually had tears in my eyes on more than one occasion.

I’m sad to see the back of Ruby as I have always liked her character.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/04/2020 13:42

I thoight they said there had been a traffic accident so no one was coming

And yes the scissors was a tad gross cutting but also showed what little of arm there was

I'm a bit indifferent about Ruby leaving
I've always been rather indifferent about her to be honest

Wannabangbang · 21/04/2020 19:31

I really like Ruby's character and was sad to see her leave. I enjoyed the lastest episode. Jacob needs some storylines, he doesn't seem to have many parts now which is a great shame

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/04/2020 19:56

How did they get the arm woman’s wedding ring

I assumed would have been left squashed on hand and arm that was cut and left on train tracks

She came out of surgery and faith gave hubby the ring

And yes no notice again

I know I should probably have expected it once we got a new paramedic but I was hoping that Ruby and baby were going to go and live with Jan.

In fact, I might just pretend that's what happened.

JustDanceAddict · 22/04/2020 15:20

I love Jan!!

CherryValanc · 26/04/2020 07:39

Can't help worrying- feeling we are in for a long term bore-off storyline about Charlie.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 26/04/2020 09:44

Well Connie's promise to Duffy has got to be played out and presumably helping Charlie overcome his current demons will be it. And to think we'd seen the last of him.

So Feniha's baby is most likely Ethan's? Hmm. The Huntingdon's storyline about to resurface do you think? Can't quite believe that he hasn't yet clocked that Will and she are a couple.

Runkle · 26/04/2020 11:40

He has, they kissed in front of him the other week.
Dreading more Charlie...

bakedbeanzontoast · 26/04/2020 18:29

@CherryValanc save us 😩

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 27/04/2020 08:13

Maybe the Charlie storylines won't be so interwoven that we can't fast-forward them.

I'm going to miss Ruby - I felt like she had more to give as a character. Not so keen on the new paramedic, although the pregnancy story might be interesting. Really, they just need to make Jan and Dylan centre stage every week and I'd be happy.

Optimist1 · 27/04/2020 09:41

Jan's one of the few regular characters whose personal life hasn't been expanded on, isn't she? As far as I remember, we had passing reference to a) her being gay and b) her having a troubled adult child, but I could be mistaken!

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 27/04/2020 09:53

I think her son was caught up in Iain's storyline with that ridiculous character Base? Was he a drug dealer or something?

I really, really can’t take to this new paramedic.

When Will asked her if she’s told the father about the pregnancy and she looked horrified and said, “No because I don’t want him in my life that way!”

....well that was the final nail in the coffin for me.

And as for Will saying, “I thought we had a future?” - they’ve only been together three weeks.

It’s all just a bit too ridiculous for me.

Mumdiva99 · 30/04/2020 08:29

I was surprised at her expectation that the pregnancy was somehow 'their' problem despite only being together a few weeks. Poor Ethan. Why are the bashing him again with another mean story. Obvs shes going to keep the pregnancy, Will will tell her about the Huntingdons....Omg just had a thought does will Know? Maybe he doesn't and he will tell Ethan about the baby who realises and has to talk to Finesha himself....

(Honestly I want this story to be quick then to move on).

purpleme12 · 30/04/2020 09:16

Yes I agree about being surprised that her expectation was for it to be their problem

QueenofmyPrinces · 30/04/2020 19:59

Will doesn’t know that Finesha and Ethan had a fling (of sorts).

So yes, I reckon Will will confide in Ethan and things will come out!!

purpleme12 · 02/05/2020 19:44

Eh? Why's it shown scenes we haven't seen??

TimeIhadaNameChange · 02/05/2020 19:46

Because they've skipped an episode. I think the voiceover said it was thought to be inappropriate but my baby was screaming in my ear so I'm not sure.

NewCatMummy · 02/05/2020 19:47

Lots if ppe and a tent in the carpark- guessing a contagious disease episode??

TimeIhadaNameChange · 02/05/2020 19:48

They said everything we needed to know was included in the catch up. Wish I knew what the missed episode was about.
