Anyone else going to be watching this tonight?

I watched the first one with Rio talking about the grief of losing Rebecca, it was so heartbreaking what the family all went through, I'm so pleased he seems to have found happiness. He seems like a nice guy.

BBC 1 at 9pm tonight.

Getyourarseoffthequatro - Hello Kate Grin

Taking on 3 kids is hard- yeah I forgot she has to juggle this with full time work and her own children to boot. Very hard indeed I’m sure. So hard she’s crying publicly and bemoaning the fact in the newspapers each day. Doesn’t she have any close friends or family to confide in about these things? That would be normal behaviour surely.

Trust me if my husband treat me like Rio in life and then got a fame-hungry ex-Towie ‘star’ like her to raise my children for her own selfish means after I’d died then it’s fair to say I would be heartbroken.

I'm sick of hearing about these nobodies! He's been a shit to women all his life and she's clearly got £ signs in her eyes!

Google tells me rebecca died in 2015 and he started dating kate in 2017 so i doubt it somehow. She was with Dan Edgar in 2015 wasnt she? Confused

getyourarse I don’t know if exploiting the kids is quite the right word but they’re certainly fucking them up. Those poor kids have lost their mum, one day they will decide to read old stories about it for curiosities sake and discover that their dad constantly cheated on their mum, with the woman that is now your step mother. Can you imagine reading all the hundreds of articles Kate has done on how awful it was when she moved in, how she cried every day, how she’d never dream of trying to replace their mum (just constantly talk about how much she’s given up for them). They either already know these stories and must absolutely hate Kate or they’re going to be absolutely heartbroken when they do discover it all.

If they’d just quietly got on with life, got married and genuinely put the kids first then none of these stories would have come out. The kids might have then been able to have a happy home life (if Rio manages to keep his cock to himself obviously)

She’s not looking after 3 children. She’s USING and manipulating 3 young bereaved children for her own publicity and for her own selfish means. Absolutely sick and grotesque in my opinion.

But despite this, as their father, he’s a million times worse than her.

Manipulating how? do you know them personally then?

I don't mind these 2, they seem happy together, but I find the teeny scimpy bikinis Kate wears with the kids a bit much. She has a great figure, but it's just not appropriate with kids there.

No, but if they weren’t constantly pushing themselves into the media and pushing their children into the same spotlight then I wouldn’t know anything about them.

And that is exactly how it should be.

Any loving parent or stepparent does not need to create a false narrative of past events or to seek unnecessary publicity and fame for themselves via their children if they are truly doing a good job of putting the interests of their children first. The only validation they need is the love and admiration from those children.

I think they are both brave doing this documentary. Some of the comments here are vile. Unless they know the couple personally. Which they probably won't.

Ok so you dont agree with it - fine. Its hardly manipulation. In terms of slebs exploiting children id say these 2 were pretty far down the list tbh. I dont think theyre doing anything wrong personally.

I dont agree with his cheating, mind.

Yes, mumsnet rules, didn’t you know? If you ever stick up for anyone who is the subject of a pile on, you must actually be one of them.

I’ve lost count of the number of people I am.

Just caught 20 seconds of it - the children gathered round their mothers grave and sobbing. A complete invasion of their privacy and the BBC should be ashamed of themselves.

Couldn't bear to watch it.

They'd sell their grannies for 10 minutes publicity. Shame on him for exposing his kids to all this. Poor Rebecca Sad

Considering this man didn’t think twice about spending £500k on superinjunctions in 2011 to reinforce his ‘nice guy’ image it doesn’t surprise me the amount of supportive comments for them on this thread. In fact something does smell a little here... the Daily Mail only allows supportive comments on any articles printed about them too. Very unusual. They certainly like publicity and money talks.

Anyone would think their team may be scrolling twitter and any popular forums with their names to add supportive comments the hour before their documentary is about to air to manipulate the reaction it receives. This documentary will have cost time and money to produce after all, and if received well will have the opportunity to gain them more money and publicity.

I find it staggering that anyone would be so willing to defend a man who repeatedly disrespected and cheated on his wife, attempted to cover this and then after she died moved on with a self-serving individual who seems to seek fame on the back of his heartbreaking children and their grief.

Just saying...

You have a point about him cheating but i think slagging her off based on what? Is out of order

Watching this i really think shes trying her best.
