I forget he's only 22 because he's been through so many problems the last couple of years.

PrivateSpidey · 31/01/2020 12:46

Good luck at the hospital Raahh hope all goes well.

Jane same! They said it earlier and I was like "Huh, check your facts you idiots" - then I was like, actually, maybe he is only 22?!

Thank you all.

Yes, only 22, so there is plenty of time for him, if he stays fit. Like it or not, the dominance of the big 3 has to come to an end at some point, and he will have years to capitalise.

JaneJeffer · 31/01/2020 12:48

How does John mangle everyone's name? Grin

Raahh · 31/01/2020 12:51

At the tour finals, the commentators kept waffling on about Tsitsipas only being 21- as though Sascha was years older. There is only about 18 months between them.

Raahh · 31/01/2020 12:51

Jane it's an art form.

Raahh · 31/01/2020 12:52

Commissioner of tennis.

Boris looks like he doesn't know why he is there.

JaneJeffer · 31/01/2020 12:53

Someone should make a compilation of all his mispronunciations Grin

JaneJeffer · 31/01/2020 12:54

The Pique cup Grin

Raahh · 31/01/2020 12:55

Federer didn't show up to DAvis Cup because I doubt Sitzerland qualified!

Raahh · 31/01/2020 12:56

This is hilarious. Grin

Time to get off my behind!

I do agree though, that having Davis Cup, ATP cup, the tour finals, and then the Australian open so close together is nuts, if they want top players to keep playing. There seemed to be very little 'off' season.

But then, it's as a tough as any other period of the year I suppose- playing the whole clay season, and then almost straight to grass for example. And this year there will be the Olympics in the mix, so very little 'down' time, before the hardcourt season starts. Not all players can afford to 'manage' their schedules, in the way so many applaud Fed for doing. They are obligated to play specific events.

Am just watching the Commissioner of Tennis clip Grin

Do you think the Commissioner bit is scripted? Or is it more improv?

Been out all morning and just catching up with everything tennis.

Well done Dom.
Let's hope he hasn't knackered himself for the final.

Chuckling as I read the thread, whilst trying to work out what may be happening from your commentary Wink

I'm at the hospital, checking on my kidney stones. The appointment is over an hour late.

I have been amused by a sign that says Team Urology - Urine good hands

JaneJeffer · 31/01/2020 16:59

Face palm Grin

kazzaD66 · 31/01/2020 17:08

Love that sign Raahh although I hope all turns out ok, you don't have to wait too much longer and that Kevin and Keith have buggered off. (Couldn't remember the second name, typed in Kevin and ........and my phone automatically came up with Keith Grin)

Currently watching back Dom and Sascha and trying to block out AC Hmm
