I had dates with my porridge this morning but they didn't fill me with this kind of energy, sadly

Saw a bit of Evans / Tsistipas. Shame about the result but Dan has had a fantastic week.

I think I saw that Heather Watson is in the semis in Mexico.

Looks like a convincing win for rafa overnight v Grigor. Taylor Fritz is also through to the final.

I was relieved to see the Rafa score- I thought maybe it would be tougher than that. I don't think Rafa has ever played Taylor in a tournament before. So could be interesting.

On a more positive note, apparently Heather Watson is in the final in Mexico and should move back into the top 50.

I hoped for more from Stef- so annoying Gael couldn't win yesterday.

Glad to see Rafa won his match- vey fetching he looked in the sombrero.

I've been thinking about Djok. He's going to win everything he enters this year , isn't he? I just have this niggly feeling. I'm still gutted about the Monfils match (I'm sure he is, as well ).

Apparently Djok said he wanted to go the whole season unbeaten - not sure if he was joking or not? That would be impossible for one individual I reckon. Any player at all.

But at the same time, I wouldn't exactly be surprised if he did it

Yes, I read that about Djok, it's what got me thinking.
Something has to give, though. He has not had it totally his own way- Gael could have beaten him, and Domi had a real chance in Melbourne, until Djok got back into the match.

There must be a banana skin in the road somewhere...

But he still manages to come through though doesn’t he? (Or did you mean a real banana skin Raahh - hmmm that could be an idea ). It is quite scary that he’s saying he wants to win everything.

I’m off to check out the sombrero pictures - well done to Heather.

Fizzy given the amount of bananas that get eaten, I'm sure a real banana skin could be found .

My optimism is fading.

I have just seen on the ATP site that there are changes to the ATP challenger tour dates due to the risks due to the Coronavirus. I wonder if there will be further postponements on the main tour?

I know in the scheme of things (people's safety etc) it's not important, I know, but if events don't go ahead, how does that work with regards to rankings/titles defences etc?

There is already talk of delaying the Olympics til later in the year.

Dh has just texted me, he said the bloke next to him is prepping a load of old laptops so people can work from home if they need to (dh already does that anyway quite a bit).

He asked me if I did any panic buying. I told him I got some tinned tomatoes. He doesn't think I'm taking it seriously.
