It's on early February, I'm not sure if that's USA or the UK as well, but I think we usually get it shortly after.
Can't wait for Carries crying face to be back on my screen 😣😟

Ok how would Israeli intelligence know about Anna killing herself and why would that mean they knew Carrie and beardy were in Dorits house?

And why did Carrie leave without her bag?

TheSpottedZebra · 03/05/2020 22:03

WALL OF CRAZY!

but heels not mum boots Sad

TheSpottedZebra · 03/05/2020 22:08

WHAT? Has she defected but not really?

MrAlyhakinsMassiveYacht · 03/05/2020 22:09

Did she write a book? Where is she?

Fiderer · 03/05/2020 22:10

Hassled Hello back!

I didn't get why Israeli Intelligence knowing was enough to make them leave Israel. If they'd been after her they'd have got her long ago.

colouringindoors · 03/05/2020 22:14

nice.

ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 03/05/2020 22:15

Right so we’re to believe yevgeny gromov would ever trust Carrie? Never. She’d never live long enough to set up assets in Moscow and feed even a sliver of information back to Saul. No way.

Hassled · 03/05/2020 22:15

Oh my word. Loved the jazz tie-up with the opening credits/ jazz loving father in the early days. That was fantastic.

PennyRoyal · 03/05/2020 22:15

Was that all planned, that cArrie would become the agent?
Or, just luck? And she had remorse and her heart was still with the US?

Or am I just babbling and not really knowing what just happened?

Cocolapew · 03/05/2020 22:16

I'm disappointed it was too neat, the jump from Israel to Moscow was jarring.

OP posts:
colouringindoors · 03/05/2020 22:17

I felt she turned spy to try and redeem herself in Saul's eyes, and enjoy Yevgeny Wink

Cocolapew · 03/05/2020 22:17

It was luck, Saul obviously don't know she was a double agent.
I DIDN'T LIKE THE ENDING AND NOW I'M SAD 😔

OP posts:
ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 03/05/2020 22:21

Yeah I’m not fulfilled either. Disappointing. Ah well.

So what will fill the homeland shaped hole in our hearts now?

PennyRoyal · 03/05/2020 22:21

But one things was clear - he was St Saul 😇

Jambalaya76 · 03/05/2020 22:21

It went full circle. Now what am I going to watch?

Hassled · 03/05/2020 22:22

What I didn't like was that having stuck to the snazzy trouser suit and cross body bag throughout, she threw it all away at the end for an iffy dress.

Cocolapew · 03/05/2020 22:24

Ok I'll admit Saul was sort of good.

OP posts:
Cocolapew · 03/05/2020 22:25

I really wanted Carrie to die in it 🙈

OP posts:
ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 03/05/2020 22:25

Yeah that was a bad outfit at the end.

Bobbybobbins · 03/05/2020 22:25

Oh I loved the ending! After all that heartbreak she redeemed herself. She is Brody in Moscow! Yes it was all way too convenient but I still loved it. And she gets to enjoy Yevgeny Grin

Cocolapew · 03/05/2020 22:26

Personally I would have killed anyone within a 5 mile radius if I was being forced to listen to that jazz.

OP posts:
ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 03/05/2020 22:28

I had to mute the jazz. Ruined the ending for me.

Fiderer · 03/05/2020 22:29

Saul knew she was up to something with Yevgeny, she'd already asked him about his off-the-books asset and from Anna that it was Y's play.

I'd like to have seen more of the fallout in Washington. Mr Claire having to shave his foul beard off as penance for his war-mongering.

Sorry Coco, did you say something? Wink
They'd still see Carrie as a traitor as she had been AWOL & off with Y. But some acknowledgement that she'd saved the day by doing that, finding MAx & the flight recorder, and hadn't been involved in a plot to kill the president. But that's politics & intelligence I suppose.

Y must trust her (for now) as she'd not only fled to Russia but written the book. That I guess was the parallel with Brody, in the end he was trying to help his country.

The scene with Saul's sister was v good.

ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 03/05/2020 22:33

It must be very handy to be able to get people to fuck off by saying “can you give me a minute- spy stuff” Grin I think I might tell my DC in a spy to get some peace and quiet.

Fiderer · 03/05/2020 22:34

My question to Coco has been inserted in the middle of my post so I'll repeat it.

Sorry, Coco, did you say something? Wink
