It's on early February, I'm not sure if that's USA or the UK as well, but I think we usually get it shortly after.
Can't wait for Carries crying face to be back on my screen 😣😟

Baddies Grin

Lweji · 09/03/2020 22:56

I bet you he's a double agent

He's more likely to be a triple agent.

Cocolapew · 10/03/2020 17:02

Exactly, at long last you are all coming around to the truth about Saul.

I have a horrible feeling that Coco is going to be strutting around with a big smug grin on her face by the end of this season Grin

Patch23042 · 10/03/2020 17:29

Didn't Samira have a 12 year old son? Where would he be whilst she’s with the CIA and wouldn't she be anxious about his safety? Or have I confused her with someone else. One thing is certain, BiL will go mad if he ever sees that ice cream selfie online.

Incompetent brunette is spying on Carrie for station chief. He’s just pretending to Carrie that he believes she’s green and naive, I think. So, given that she’s actually capable, why did she make such a glaring rookie error in that interview?

I live the symmetry of Carrie having fallen for her captor, the way Brody platonically fell for his in S1. Hadn’t thought of that.

Would be good to see how the Brody family is doing. Not sure how they could be brought into it though, despite the kids being Frannie’s siblings. Might seem like shoe horning.

Loving it all so far.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 10/03/2020 17:38

No, samira was newly married when her husband was killed. He was killed because samira discovered information incriminating G’ulom during an audit as part of her job.

The lady with the 12yo son was another woman whose husband was an asset of Carrie’s. The taliban killed him for it. Carrie doesn’t know how they learned his name. She told no-one about him.

Patch23042 · 10/03/2020 17:41

Thank you Juan! That rings a bell now - Samira’s husband being killed in error shortly after their marriage.

Cocolapew · 10/03/2020 17:41

My smuggery will be off the scale JuanGrin

I loved the exploration of brody’s relationship with Nazir? The early seasons were really good at exposing the reality that there is no black and white. Everyone was just fighting what they believed to be the wrong side of just trying to survive. Which is pretty much what Brody was doing throughout regardless of which side he appeared to be on at any given time.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 10/03/2020 17:42

or just trying to survive.

Grin coco!

hairquestions2019 · 10/03/2020 21:14

"So, given that she’s actually capable, why did she make such a glaring rookie error in that interview?"

To lull Carrie into thinking she's a hopeless incompetent?

Then again, what about the head of the station - did he know where the President was headed? Maybe not.

TheSpottedZebra · 10/03/2020 22:04

The early seasons were really good at exposing the reality that there is no black and white.

I think that this is where the series will end - that there are sides, and some are bad and some are good, but most are somewhere in the middle flexing either way with different issues and different personalities.

Fiderer · 11/03/2020 07:03

Zebra Agree. Think the focus on the personalities involved in this series will confirm that.

Am sure Saul will be confirmed as Good but Coco will continue to declare him Bad and say we just couldn't accept it Grin

StSaulOfSnacks · 14/03/2020 06:44

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's episode for a bit of light relief.

Lweji · 14/03/2020 08:36

Considering Homeland's prescience, I'm half expecting they'll find themselves fighting a new disease on the border between Afghanistan and China (yes, it exists and it's tiny).

Travelledtheworld · 14/03/2020 22:25

Oh my people ! I have had a break from Mumsnet and by accident discovered Homeland was back again on Channel 4. How did I miss this ? What a welcome diversion from th C Virus.
Have to binge watch all day tomorrow to catch up with you all by tomorrow night.

Cocolapew · 15/03/2020 18:56

Imagine Homeland being the light relief 😅
I can't cope with too much tension tonight, it might finish me off.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 15/03/2020 20:44

What are the chances that they’re just sitting around having a beer and remembering the good ol’ days in tonight’s episode? Grin

TheSpottedZebra · 15/03/2020 21:05

I'm going rogue and watching Belgravia tonight (need the escapism! ) so am going to have to ignore this thread until I watch Homeland.

I reckon Saul is good in this week's show...

Cocolapew · 15/03/2020 21:36

Oh dear, it's all gone to shit.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 15/03/2020 21:42

Bomb the presidents body!! Shock Sad how horrible to have to decide that!

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 15/03/2020 21:44

Hopefully the tell the ground team to GTFO first!

Cocolapew · 15/03/2020 21:51

I don't think this President is going to be very good..

OP posts:
JuanSheetIsPlenty · 15/03/2020 21:56

No. He doesn’t seem very sure of himself now!
