I'm now trying to manage my expectations as best I can.
This series IMO started with an amazing first episode.
It set the scene perfectly.
It provided just enough details to really pique my interest and also drive me crazy trying to work out what happened.
After letting my imagination run wild I'll now just settle in and see what develops.
I have hopes that it will be a realization rather than a revelation- that the writer plays fair and provides us with all the information we need to try and work it out.
Broadchurch first season was mentioned earlier and that is a perfect example of a writer betraying trust- suddenly providing a revelation right at the end along with information the viewer hadn't been privy to.
That's bad writing.
