(ignoring the housework on my day off!)

I think that :

Georgina will vote:

  1. Paddy (COT show of loyalty) 2)Tim 3)Sammie 4)Woody

Tim will vote

  1. Woody
  2. Paddy
  3. Georgina (for forcing his hand re Ella)
  4. Sammie

Sammie will vote

  1. Georgina
  2. Paddy
  3. Tim
  4. Woody

Woody will vote

  1. Tim (if Tim can reassure him re Ella)
  2. Georgina
  3. Paddy
  4. Sammie

Paddy will vote

  1. Sammie
  2. Georgina 3)Tim
  3. Woody Hard to say with his 3 and 4 choice, could go either way.

Tim - 9 points
Sammie - 12 points
Georgina - 8 points
Woody - 13 points
Paddy - 8 points

(I've no idea how their point system works, I'm assuming lowest points = most popular)

So, as a lot have said it will come down to Georgina and Paddy (unless some serious tactical voting goes on from Sammie and Paddy to vote Georgina low)

Public vote will be between Tim and Woody

I may have this completely wrong as didn't watch last year.

Bibidy · 18/10/2019 10:20

The funniest thing is Georgina and Paddy actually believing that 'Sammie' has their back and doing all his dirty work for him. How can they not see that he would backstab them in a heartbeat if it meant he could get closer to winning?!?! He's teamed up with them because he doesn't see them as threats.

I cannot wait for them both to see that Sammie doesn't even exist and they've been completely manipulated.

aSofaNearYou · 18/10/2019 10:21

I'm another that thinks the producers must have stepped in to make it so Ella left, though, the way they edited it didn't make it seem like Tim was likely to cave at all whilst Georgina was, and this is the only time we didn't see them get close to a decision. Unless Tim offers some reason he let Georgins persuade him in tonight's episode, it seems very suspect that he would suddenly back down the one time he was actually sure it was the wrong thing to do and Sammie was manipulating things.

RyanReynoldsArmpit · 18/10/2019 10:22

I think Georgina will lose her shit at the reveal, realising how she's been played. Not sure about Paddy because I don't really know how he works - he just likes a bit of drama from what I've seen.

I could forgive James his game plan if it wasn't for the Grandpa Tim thing. That was low and his declarations of guilt were entirely for the cameras.

RyanReynoldsArmpit · 18/10/2019 10:24

Re Ella - Tim did say, lying on his couch, something about "and I allowed this to happen" I think he knew that to protect Woody (by playing tactically against Sammie) , he had to let Ella go and "prove" to Sammie that he is on her side.

Doyoumind · 18/10/2019 10:30

I'm not sure James will vote Georgina top. He would surely think it could make her a rival to him, now Ella has gone and the COT are all still there. I think he might put Paddy top, knowing no one else will.

RyanReynoldsArmpit · 18/10/2019 10:33

Yes I did wonder about James voting against her:

1 Paddy
2 Tim
3 Woody
4 Georgina

He thinks Georgina and Woody are his biggest rivals.

Georgina 4th, but then he'd need to put Woody

MissPepper8 · 18/10/2019 10:35

Really really don't like Sammie/James. He's so two faced himself, no doubt he's using Georgina and Paddy as stepping stones to get to the top and anyone that doesn't agree or pay his ego he's out for.

How shitty was his behaviour last night, him cheering as Ella left? I don't mind people playing a game, but there's a way you go about it, not buying his single mother thing while he's using images of a child to win a game.

I can't say who I'd like to win tbh, it was Georgina but after Brooke left she just lost her charm a bit, last night though she showed how she regretted what she did to Ella (although I think she'll be too frightened to go against sammie to call her out or switch sides). Tim or Woody probably now.

Doyoumind · 18/10/2019 10:39

If James and Georgina do put Paddy top then he is actually in with a good chance of winning which would be an absolute travesty and completely because of James and his meddling. I don't think Woody can possibly win the ratings because only Tim will give him a high score.

Doyoumind · 18/10/2019 10:42

I don't believe the producers have been stepping in, by the way. They can influence it by how the decide people are blocked but I don't think they had any hand in telling them to get rid of Ella.

Bibidy · 18/10/2019 10:48

As much as I don't want Paddy to win it would actually be quite fitting.

He's the person who least deserves it and who 100% would never have stood a chance before he became party of the ghastly COT. It would serve Sammie and Georgina right if he beat them purely due to their own meddling backfiring on them.

Scarydinosaurs · 18/10/2019 10:51

I think it was James’ plan all along to do this ‘circle of trust’ thing at the end- form an allegiance to get you through.

His anger at Woody’s comment was just bollocks. Sammie is dull, she isn’t as funny or interesting as Tim or Woody. Or as funny as Ella.

I think Ella was a bit too full on with everyone- but that is clearly her personality.

I like Georgina and I hope she wins. And I hope she tells Tim that she regrets her decision.

aSofaNearYou · 18/10/2019 10:53

I'm not normally one to cry producer involvement, and it could well be that Tim really did back down, but besides the obvious suspense factor I do think it was an odd editorial decision to not show any of the conversation that led to him allowing her to be blocked, even if it was just a hint.

I'd have to assume he allowed her to be blocked because he also liked Paddy which will be so sad in hindsight because he's the only person Tim hasn't sussed is also part of the COT. Though I think it's a bit odd it hadn't occurred to Tim, Woody and Ella tbh, who did they think was writing all the negative comments in the Isn't It Funny game? Both Georgina and Paddy denied writing the comment to Tim, but he obviously didn't think it was Woody or Ella (or Sammie) so who did he think wrote it? The same goes for all the negative comments to Ella in the game, only one of them was from Sammie...

Bibidy · 18/10/2019 10:56

It's a shame that Tim didn't choose to give his 'save' to Ella last night instead of Woody, because there's no way he would have backed down and let Georgina get rid of Woody.

Scarydinosaurs · 18/10/2019 11:18

I agree bibidy

I’m very pleased that Georgina went to see Ella. It has helped her see Sammie for what she really is. Or isn’t.

motorcyclenumptiness · 18/10/2019 11:22

I think Ella came across really well - I hope the experience is a great career springboard for her

aSofaNearYou · 18/10/2019 11:30

On a side note, I hope they won't keep Ella in isolation until tonight. Her interview on the live show would be 10x more interesting if she had had a chance to catch up on what's been happening beforehand.

Though knowing her she would probably still just say "no hard feelings, no bad blood", which she really shouldn't. I'm really hoping at least one person doesn't automatically forgive COT for how rude and nasty they have been to everybody else during their little revolution. The money grabbing is one thing but they have spoken about the others so disrespectfully and don't deserve their friendship.

I'm hoping for fireworks when they all get out and find out the truth!

Olinguito · 18/10/2019 11:42

I was so disappointed in Georgina last night, pushing for Ella to be blocked and then crying with her as if it wasn't her fault. I really liked Ella's gutsy personality, and feel miffed that she was blocked basically for being too popular.

I took it that Paddy's mum was perhaps his step-mother rather than him having been adopted. I wondered what she felt about the crude comments he has been making. I can't warm to Paddy at all, and dislike James now, having found him quite amusing at first. As well as being scheming and manipulative James has shown a nasty bad-tempered side that I find repulsive.

I really hope that Tim wins, with Woody second.

LolaDabestest · 18/10/2019 11:47

Tim was tactical though when saving last night....he knew they were gunning for Ella yet saved woody, there has been no talk of woody being fake etc so he had no reason to belive Georgina would gun for him.
He let that happen as Ella was a bigger threat to him but played it as though he didn't want it to happen. He is manipulative but in a different way. As for Georgina she has been real the whole time and is easily lead I think especially after what Brooke said, but Tim was shady there anyway.

I don't want woody to win as much as he's a nice person I think Georgina has been more entertaining and I like her attitude. James has just fucked it anyway.

fruitpastille · 18/10/2019 11:51

Woody is hard to predict. Will he be angry that Tim didn't save ella? He needs to be told by Tim how manipulative Sammie is or he won't put her last. And he may not put Tim first out of loyalty to ella. But who on earth would he put first then?!

Georgina could also swing things. If she had any sense she would realise that Sammie is not too be trusted and put her last but I think she will put 'bore off' Woody last. I think she will put paddy first.

Paddy could go either way. I think he may put Georgina first. If he was really devious he would put sammie last. That would be amazing :-)

Tim will put woody first and sammie last.

itswinetime · 18/10/2019 11:52

Tim was tactical but I don't think he was shady... he knew Georgina wasn't close to woody although I don't think he knows he dislikes him he knows she calls Georgina a bestie and her girl so though he had a better chance that way!

Georgina is two faced and snakey but out of the cot I'd rather her win than the other 2

SpanishFly · 18/10/2019 12:13

I think it's easy for us to say Tim should have done x, y and z, as we know who's doing what behind the scenes. Tim is having to try to work out who's telling the truth and who's playing tactically and landing others in it.

SpanishFly · 18/10/2019 12:18

Ps a few people asked if someone is typing the messages or if it's all automates. Well my job involves a lot of use of voice recognition software. Theres no way on this earth that it's being used in The Circle during messages. I have trained and trained and trained my software and it still produces lots of misrecognitions. It also needs to be told punctuation etc. And if it were being used here, it would also pick up on their ramblings mid-message

SnowyZ · 18/10/2019 12:26

As Tim doesn't know about the COT, he probably thought Ella may have been safe from Georgina and she would pick Paddy to go over Ella because they are besties. Which Georgina has pretty much said because her dilemma was between not breaching the COT and her friendship with Ella. Not because she has a bestie friendship with both Paddy and Ella. Woody was definitely most at risk from Georgina.

Georgina told Ella she was picked because the only difference between her and Paddy is that some people had doubts about Ella and no one had any about Paddy. Even though Tim doesn't have these doubts, he is logical enough that he can't argue that others haven't voiced them whether he believes them or not. And he can't argue the same about Paddy as no one has said anything negative about him.

This all came about because Georgina saved Sammie though. It's the producers we should be annoyed at !

I think the interesting thing about this show is where do you sit on how far you are prepared to go to win a game/money. Are you prepared to do it at any cost or is being genuine, kind and loyal more important to you than winning. Would you rather lose but do so with your head held high that you were true to yourself and kind to others. I think it's easy to see which side of the fence the remaining players sit.

That's interesting SpanishFly. I did suspect it was a human typing behind it. There have been a few indications like Jack's emoji. I also remember Jay/Katy having to spell out soffit, and I thought if it was computer automated she wouldn't have needed to!
