The Circle is back on tonight (Channel 4, 9:15) and I am soooooo excited

The first thing I noticed about Tim is that in the early influencer chats he ran the show then told the other player he would deliver the bad news, therefore making the other player feel and obligation to him because he’s done them a ‘favour’.

He asks a lot about the other players to find out what makes them tick but I don’t see him giving out huge amounts of information about himself. He’s kept it well hidden that he was a UKIP councillor for example, because I’m sure he knows that would colour the other players perception of him.

Johnny Ball was a stalwart of 80s children's TV. He was famous for his Maths and Science shows, delivered at lightning speed! He had several shows, I remember Johnny Ball Reveals All

@Babybel90 I read that he joined UKIP and then the Tories to try and change them from the inside. I don't know how true that is, but he did resign from UKIP in protest about racism. He also made cartoons for the Leave campaign, whilst voting Remain. Couple that with his Thatcherite views, he's clearly a complex man!

That's an interesting take on Tim, he definitely set the tone for the influencer chats, I'm not sure he ran the show though as he wanted jay blocked long before he was but I can see he has forcefull opinions.

Interesting to say you think we know less about him than the others I think it's the opposite I know more about Tim than Georgina Ella or paddy all I know about Georgina but I could have blocked that out. He does lead conversations I agree.

Still not sure if that makes him manipulative or just a strong character but it's interesting to get others take on him.

My rankings would be if I only saw what the players do.....

I think Tim has revealed quite a lot, ie, he was a monk, is gay, married etc. Theres no reason to mention UKIP , which he no longer belongs to. He did mention his support of Thatcher, so isn’t afraid of being slightly controversial. We probably know less about the other players.

Yeah, I don’t mean he’s manipulative in an evil Disney character way, just that he’s obviously used to getting his own way and knows how to bend people to his will. I think we all do it to an extent, but I don’t think he’s as genuine as some people think he is.

I don't think Tim was manipulative. When he and James were influencers they both choose their favourite 2 people and the one who is in no-one's favourite 2 is evicted. That's why Jan went. Tim saved Ella and Woody, James saved Georgina and Paddy. Why did James think he would get to save 3 and evict one of Tim's favourite 2?
Tim is much more open than James

Agree that Tim has revealed far more about himself than the others. I don't know what Georgina or Paddy do, if they have relationships, what their hobbies are. James has a partner but never mentions her or anything about himself. Woody says nothing about himself except his famous parents and music festivals. His buddhist shrine is interesting and where did Denny come from?

I think we know more about Tim than any of the others too, he quite often tells stories from his life where none of the players do (talking about tutoring a little girl, memories of the 70s etc). I do think him being an intelligent man and an educator means he naturally guides conversations but I don't think it has been in a manipulative way at all and definitely not to improve his chances of winning.

I really think Tim needs to be more open with Ella and let Woody know (rather than hinting) what Sammie has said.
I don't like Paddy at all. Georgina is two-faced. ID like to see Ella, Tim and Woody in the final.

I'd imagine James' partner has run for the hills!

Zoe Ball (Woody's Mum obv) said on Instagram that when its all over she's going to be inviting the contestants around for tea, though funnily enough though she didn't mention James/Sammie!

In her instagram post she only mentions about 4 names and has missed alot of names off.

Strange she mentioned Emelle and Sy although I wish Emelle had had longer. I think they block the first person too soon

Well I'm working from home tomorrow so going to stay up and watch tonight, and I'll def be watching live tomorrow! Really hope we get some chance to vote but not sure it will happen now.

Georgina has to have been the least friendly towards Woody in the last week

She can change her tune as much as she wants when she knows who he is but when they are watching back which they will she'll fucking kick herself at how often she screamed FUCK OFF WOODY at the TV

It's not just his parents as he told us he's met hundreds of celebs way bigger than them over the years. Ella is going to be loving life with how easy it is to get Glastonbury tickets.

(I've always wondered how the famous get their tickets, there's no way they go through the crap system plebs have to)

Im thinking someone will have to come and visit Woody tonight, as all the others have had visitors now. Sammie has had two! I feel its being set up for it, but who will it be?

Are the public going to be able to vote for the winner? I so want Tim or Woody to win.

I am not keen on any of the others and really cannot stand James. I said almost at the beginning that he seemed a nasty piece of work and now he has proved he is. I am also sick and tired of seeing his bare chest. I don;t find it attractive in the slightest

As a PP has said, there’s no clarification anywhere on how the winner will be selected this series.

James/Sammie is in for a shock if it goes to a public vote.

I disagree with a lot of you. Tim has had who he wants out everytime he’s been an influencer and I thought last night was quite telling because the moment he doesn’t get his way he’s aggressive. He’s nice as long as you do exactly what you’re told.

Ella is clearly posh. She was a Westminster choir girl and won’t tell anyone her job. The money just won’t make the impact to her, woody or tim.

I want Georgina to win or Sami/James.

Woody is going to waltz out if this with a presenting contract, he’s all ready for so much stacked in his favour. I like the lad but giving a young, privileged white boy £100k is a bad outcome.
