The Circle is back on tonight (Channel 4, 9:15) and I am soooooo excited

I wonder if he might twig when they get to put more photos on? Woody's current photo isn't very clear. Mind you when I heard 'Woody from Brighton' i immediately thought it might be him. Maybe a producer will give a little hint to stop Richard coming across like some dodgy groomer!

I'm just catching up from last night and this made me raise an eyebrow.

I'm enjoying it, but it's not half as good as last year (nothing to do with my irrational dislike of Emma Willis). Tim is my favourite.

Re Richard madeley. ok so he "doesnt know anything about the contestants" - but surely he wasnt in lockdown for a few days like the others were?? In which case he must have seen that Zoe Balls son was going in??

I was cringing with Richard and Woody and it was Richard who started being flirty. Just wrong!

I didn't watch any of the last series so can't compare, is it vastly different this time? I'm enjoying it so far though.

june2007 Richard went in 24 hours after the others, but do you honestly think he was in lockdown for 3 or 4 days?? Seems really unlikely

Can't remember having many in studio episodes like tonights in the last series? Maybe the first and the last but that's about it. Not a fan of the sofa chit chat 😒

Tonight's is sooo long winded! I have recorded and skipped loads, but agree that there's far too much sofa chat ...

James needs to eat some vegetables - enough with the processed meat!
Celebrity offspring, gimmicks and sofa chat are spoiling this series for me.

I've been watching with DP after we were hooked last year.

I hate how shows like this get more fake and OTT the more popular they are. Reminds me of how BB went downhill. I like Emma Willis but feel like she is taking over everything. She is the Holly Willoughby of Channel 4.

I'll stick with it as I'm enjoying it so far. Gutted Sy left as he seemed a nice lad, but definitely like Tim the best.

Ella looks like she could bring a bit of energy to things, the other girls seem nice but they're a bit too much like "you look stunning hun, love you hun" for my liking. I suppose that's why I liked Kate/Alex from the first season because he was NOT like that 😁

It's definitely different to last year but it was always going to be the sofa chat was long although it was nice to see the blocked members react to the catfishes but that whole section could have been maybe 10 mins. I don't need celebs commenting!

Looks like they are going to try and make it more interactive this year which I think was the big complaint last year I just hope the meddling doesn't go to far.

So far I love Tim! I can't stand the women that is Jay! I'm not keen on the bloke playing as Sami either but he could well end up like Freddie for me the one you love to hate! The girls seem nice enough but I agree it's a bit bland hopefully Ella can change that. Woody is too young for this I think he seems sweet enough but he isnt the right kind of personality for this I think.

I'm still lot sure what to make of the whole Richard/Judy thing I just don't think its adding much. I hope he is out next it's seems unfair to kick people out who actually want to be there so he can piss about not really caring.

An hour and a half show last night and I probably skipped through 75% of it. Five minutes talking to the voted out person would be enough.

I really liked last year's, have recorded new series but only watched one so far. Loving Emma with a ponytail.

The concept's really psychologically interesting imo, more so than a lot of reality TV.

Really dislike James aka Sammi. Dont think he'll do well with the public vote, if he gets that far.

You know I find James interesting. He's not my type physically but he's so switched on in his approach and clever I have a bit of a crush .

Must admit nepotism doesn't sit well with me on any TV. You're here because you're so-and-so's child. Kay' then, better make it worth it.

I watched this just to see what it is (didn't watch the first series). I find it hard to believe that not one of them put 2 and 2 together and realised Woody is Zoe Ball's son.

Woody is not exactly a common name is it and also living in Brighton! I would immediately assume it was him. They are various ages so I am pretty sure one of them at least would at least wonder if it were him. Richard Maddeley I am pretty sure would think it was Zoe's son.

On a different note, how is Emma Willis' hair so long? Is it extensions or something? Doesn't suit her. She looks much better with short hair

Pretty sure it's extensions mydog. I seem to be in the minority but I think she suits any hairstyle (!).

I don't think everyone would know the name of Zoe balls son. I'm not sure I would have got it if someone asked 🤷🏻‍♀️ Once you point it out it's obvious but when your not thinking about it I can see why they haven't twigged. Richard is the only one I think it's odd hasn't guessed! Especially with the new pictures.

As soon as woody came on I said he looks like Norman Cook lol. The generations in the house I don't think would recognise Zoe Ball or Norman Cook and they aren't together anymore so not many family shoots with Woody.

I wouldn't know who Woody is at all, nor see any significance in him being from Brighton? I've heard of Fatboy Slim but didn't know his real name or what he looked like. I vaguely can recall Zoe Ball. I'm 26 so maybe it's a generation thing.

I would have known it was Zoe's son from the name. I remember when he was born thinking was a silly name so it has always stuck with me plus the living in Brighton

Have been watching although didn’t watch Fridays. I think he contestants are all a bit the same bar from Tim and the cat fishers. But even the cat fishers are a bit similar. The contestants last year where a lot more varied
